Food is good, but too expensive for the portion size.

The rudest service I’ve ever experienced. Not sure if it’s bc I’m black, but would never go back

The restaurant itself seems lovely upon approach, though we opted to sit outside since it was quite loud and looked a bit cramped (but I mean, that’s New York!). We got the burrata, lumache pasta, the trout and braised leeks… and everything except maybe the burrata was pretty disappointing. The pasta was very undercooked, (and not in an al dente sense… like bits of it were almost hard to chew) and seemed to just have sriracha on top. Definitely not worth anywhere near $28. The trout was okay, but lacked flavor… the flavor was all in the excessive amount of olive tapenade on top, which was pretty good but made the dish feel unbalanced. The braised leeks were tasteless and also very overpriced. Wine pours felt very stingy. Service was a bit up and down, our server was nice but kinda disappeared after we got our food - and despite it being 30min before closing and still lots of patrons, another server started loudly breaking down all the tables and chairs around us which made us feel unwelcome and ultimately, cut our meal short. I feel for restaurants right now and I get that everything has become more expensive for them but… this was a stretch, and overall I didn’t feel anything we ate was worth the price-tag.

Walked in on a Friday & joined the wait list. Definitely waited much longer than we were quoted. However, the food made up for it. Everything we had was delicious and fresh. Chef choice of meat, cheese & veg was creative and balanced. I also especially enjoyed the lumache pasta!
Shrimp pasta wasn't that tasty, it tasted like Mac and Cheese from a box. The steak was ok but the portions were really tiny. Service was good but doesn't make up for the bad to mediocre food.

Don’t go for dinner; with their portion sizes, you will leave hungry and $100 poorer.

Somewhat charming neighborhood Italian resto specializing in Northern Italian cuisine.
Nice wine list, decent food including some vegan options, and the service was unobtrusively attentive. The only disappointments eere the overly loud and aggressive music. It seemed like management had decided to create a “party atmosphere” and overreached. Unfortunately this is a pervasive trend in most restaurants that can instantly sour what would have been an otherwise pleasant experience. The food was not bad but all three of the dishes we had were somewhat excessively oily.
