They should have a variable priced menu based on freshness of bagel. $12 for egg salad and a stale bagel is highway robbery. Not to mention added cost for any condiments.

First time there, cannot compare to the Houston St. Store. Won't be going back there.

The lox was excellent. The bagels so-so. The sesame bagel was adequate for lox and cream cheese. For some reason, the pumpernickel bagel was a total fail.
Would have been a better idea to take the fish to go and pair with a proper NY bagel.

The bagel was really great, highly recommend the horseradish cream cheese with the gaspe nova (lox) and capers/tomato/onions. The guy at the deli counter was very helpful and friendly. The location was easily accessible but didn’t have the atmosphere I was expecting from a Jewish deli.

$8 for a gf bagel and weird cream cheese that melts…..
The prices here are totally out of control and the food seems to be getting worse each year.

The bagels are good. Fish is delicious. Lots of cream cheese to choose from. It’s very expensive and no seating available.

I had high hopes for this bagel store based on the buzz, but I found it to be quite overhyped. The bagels were smaller than expected and had a dense texture with a tight crumb, lacking the crisp exterior that I associate with a great bagel. As someone from Long Island, I’ve definitely had better.
To me, these bagels tasted more like bread than the classic bagel flavor I was looking for. I can't speak to their seafood offerings, which are their specialty, as I’m not a seafood fan. However, I did try the babkas, and they were disappointingly dry and lacked flavor.
On a positive note, the homemade cream cheese was a standout—super creamy and fresh, which I really enjoyed. Additionally, the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious and refreshing. Overall, while there were some highlights, I expected more from the bagels themselves.

Good place for tasty Bagels. They offer interesting options (Pumpernickel), sea food toppings, but also a vegan cream cheese Schmear. I liked it a lot.

A homemade bagel to remember!
This is the Brooklyn branch of a famous bagel restaurant in Little Italy, and is a recommended place to stop by for breakfast on your way to Dumbo.
The size of the bagel is considered standard, and you can order the ingredients in front of you just like ordering at Subway.
I think the price is a bit high, but the cheese cream and bread had a homemade taste.
In particular, you can watch bagels being made right at the bakery next door.
In a slightly unusual(?) way, the cheese cream was made with goat cheese, and the scent was very memorable.
As with other restaurants in the building, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, so I recommend this place if you visit nearby.
Additionally, it is fun to look at the photos on the restaurant wall and experience a glimpse of New York and its food culture of the past.

What's best is when the service staff asks what we want and if we needed help to decide. I find that very helpful.

Ordered the pastrami russ bagel and the potato latkes.
Service wasn't fast, but they took the time to make whatever was ordered be done correctly and well.
I'm not really a bagel fan, but it is NY, so I might as well have a good one. The fish was a small portion but was very good. The latke was a little over fried, but nothing to complain about.
Lots of choices and selections for a picky eater.
Overall a nice place for a quick stop, and I'd recommend them.

I came here during the 5 borough bike tour which was happening on the same block and still was able to make it in! My wife and I enjoyed the classic lox and it was GREAT! We also bought Hamantaschen pastry that tasted very soft and delicious that we bought an extra one before leaving. From their bagel down to the house made cream cheese everything was good and I could see myself coming back another time.
