Well, I went there on my Birthday 2/18 and this after reading the reviews . I couldn’t eat all my dinner so I took the baby back ribs and brownie w/ice cream home. The ribs were extremely spicy and later in the evening I went to eat my brownie. It was like a big cookie burnt on the bottom so hard I needed a hammer and chizzle to get through it. In all my years I have never seen a brownie like that. I think it was microwaved and when I tell to it was hard OMG ! I threw it away after fighting to cut into it with a folk. I had mac and cheese but one can tell this was no soul food restaurant nor was the chef. Mac and cheese had some crunchy stuff on top but I enjoyed the wings and fries. I most likely won’t be going back there again. I wanted soul food 😡 it was listed as such!

Rustik tavern is a fantastic spot for dinner, solo or with company! Our server Amanda was friendly, accommodating and funny. The general ambiance is hip, cozy and comforting.
We ordered the roasted brussel sprouts, spinach dip, steak frites and beef burger. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Portion sizes are big enough to share between two people. Drinks are strong and very flavorful!! Definitely recommend the tequila picante and pink lemonade.

Rustik Tavern is such a good stop! Couldn’t recommend it more. Our server Amanda was super caring, involved and friendly. Food was brought out in decent intervals. With just enough time between starters and mains. The portions are large and the drinks are strong. The venue is spacious and the music is kept at a fairly pleasant level.

My family and I were attending a Brooklyn Waldorf School event and decided to stop here for lunch. We had such a nice time. The atmosphere was cozy, warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great. We are looking forward to returning soon.
Had a fabulous brunch here with my husband, mom and sister. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was the best Iv had in a long time! Everyone was so nice. I especially enjoyed the salmon burger sliders, the grits, and the french toast. Yum! The atmosphere is also super cozy.
