Safir Bakery is an amazing spot! The store is very clean, and the staff are so sincere and welcoming—it truly feels like a warm place straight from Türkiye. The desserts are incredibly fresh and taste exactly like the ones you’d find back home. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Highly recommend!

For the fourth year in a row, the Turkish café Safir has become part of our family on Kings Highway.
It’s where my husband spends his evenings studying, and where the staff welcome us not as customers, but as old friends.
His table feels as if it’s reserved by fate, the coffee is always served with warmth, and the smiles are genuine—straight from the heart.
This morning, we visited them again, now at their new location on Ave U… and breakfast, as always, wasn’t just delicious, but comforting. The kind that makes you feel: home is far away, but here, you’re also awaited. ❤️☕🥐
We’re grateful—for the patience, for the smiles, and for the fact that in this noisy world, there’s a place where we can come and simply belong.
Our plan for the future is simple: to keep coming back, bringing friends and our kids, celebrating small victories and big moments right here.
P.S. May there always be a table by the window for my husband—and may we always have more and more reasons to come.

The Avenue U location is a joke. The young girls behind the counter are disgustingly RUDE. To the girl with the heavy eyeliner and long gold necklace, do you feel better about throwing my cash at me and having it fall over the counter? To come in and purchase baked goods to then be treated horribly during the entire exchange is unacceptable. I don't know who raised y'all, but don't waste your time and energy at this bakery. DISGUSTING EMPLOYEES.

I really like the people and the ambience at this café, and the food itself is decent. Unfortunately, this was the second time I experienced issues with this particular employee. I made a point to explain my order clearly and had her confirm it, yet she was still unable to execute it correctly. I ended up paying $35 for a sandwich with eggs I had requested on top but never received that way, a scrambled egg side that shouldn’t have been charged separately, a coffee she couldn’t get right three times, and a cookie.
Misunderstandings happen, but once the owner realized his employee couldn’t execute the order as requested, he should have at least apologized or offered a partial refund — at the very least removing the coffee from the bill. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and the issue was never fully rectified, so I had no choice but to take my business elsewhere.
While the café has a lot going for it, repeated mistakes like this make it hard for me to continue coming here, and I won’t be returning.

First of all, I don't recommend this place to anyone. Why? I went here this morning and the girl with the hat working the cash register was talking to me in a very rude manner. I sat down and she brought me cold tea. What a disgrace! How do you employ such employees? It's obvious the owner doesn't care about customer satisfaction at all. If she did, she wouldn't have that skinny girl with the hat working there.‼️‼️‼️ (KİNGSHIGHWAY LOCATION )

Probably one of the best baclava in all of Brooklyn. Super fresh and baked daily on premises. Also, plenty of authentic Turkish coffee and tea.

BAD!! I stopped in at 2 PM and was told the kitchen was already closed — which struck me as odd for the middle of the day. When I asked about it, the staff’s response was curt and dismissive, and their overall attitude made me feel unwelcome. The way I was treated left me feeling singled out and extremely uncomfortable. This was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I’ve had, and I will not be returning.

This location employee a guy with tail told us we cant drink tea from glasses after 8PM. We were just 3 people. If guy care about customers he would have made an exception if it is a rule in your guys place. But if its a rule its ridiculous. Anyways we didnt drink here and wont be back anytime soon. Say thanks to the guy in front! Kings highway location is better. Here service sucks tbh
