It’s my fave local go-to!
I was hesitant to write a review because I’ve dined and ordered from Sage dozens of times in the past 10 years or so, and I’ve always had a great experience. However, back in March, while having lunch at the restaurant, I swallowed a chicken bone(?) while eating spicy drunken noodles. I was coughing and dry heaving, and not a single staff member came to check if I was okay. I paid and left because I assumed it was a one off and I’m not one to make a big deal. Fast forward to tonight, my husband and I ordered in from Sage. This time, I ordered the pineapple fried rice (still scarred about the spicy drunken noodle even though it had been my go-to order) and he had the chicken pad Thai. About halfway through his pad Thai, he took a bite and pulled this chicken bone out of his mouth (see photo). I can’t imagine that in the last 4 months, this is purely a coincidence and we’re the only two people that this has happened to. It’s unacceptable. I’m disappointed because it was my favorite Thai restaurant in the neighborhood and now I’m completely put off by it.

Wow, this place is beautiful and affordable. I can’t say anything bad. Maybe the spring rolls are a bit small🤷🏻♀️ but it’s gorgeous and there’s a garden area and there’s a bar. Great for a lunch with colleagues or a date. Def wanna try again when in the area

The picture was their “half of a chicken.”
It looked like fair food that had been sitting out all day.
I ordered it to go and paid $19 for it.
The jicama (guessing) salad also looked like it had been sitting outside all day.
No bueno.
Rude people, weather is 100+ they want delivery drivers outside like we’re peasants. At least have the food ready and on time. The least you can do as a restaurant.

Oh my god, let me not say that cause I’m agonistic. I mean heeebie jeeebus, this food is busing out the pants just to eat ya good. The shrimp dumplings were hot but hot enough to burn it’s love into my heart. The chicken skewers with that peanut butter sauce made me feel like I was moonwalking in callabasses. The pad Thai and spicy fried rice done made me do the Bruno mars on em, then usher your girl out the door.
Good food 10/10

Loved the food and live jazz. What a treat! Super accommodating to my gluten free needs! 10/10
This place is like our second kitchen - they cook quick, tasty food for a reasonable price. Going there repeatedly and ordering the same dishes, the inconsistency from one visit to another is a bit frustrating but that is my only complaint. Staff is always friendly.
Update 6 years later: we come back with our kids and LOVE the food. It is very kid friendly, everything is delicious!
