RESPECTFULLY THEM TWO YOUNG ASIAN GREETERS MALE AND FEMALE THAT WORK HERE LUCKY I DONT FILE A DISCRIMINATION REPORT. 2/14 I came in with a friend with no reservation in the evening. After the young Female look at the kiosk she went to the young guy and I watch him tell her no. She came back to us and said no they don’t have anything . Mind you the restaurant was not crowded at ALL” Immediately I went into my phone and make a reservation on google which showed they had OPEN reservations ALLNIGHT . Another family shortly walk in , they ask them do they have a reservation and they said yes but never verified or ask them there name . Immediately sat them at a table. That’s why I got there attention and said to the female :why did you say it’s nothing Available and there is ? She point at the young man , so he came back over and I said I have a reservation now , he ask the name and couple seconds later , they sat us at a table . Whole experience was mind boggling , distasteful and disrespectful. The only reason we stayed cause this was our second visit and the real props goes out to the people that’s not seen , which are the chefs .

Good atmosphere and decoration but some food wasn't hot, protein was dry and seemed very prepared in advance.

Great tasting causal Thai place.

I wish the online pricing was more straightforward where the dish is $15 and premium protein is additional. It’s currently $13 and you’re required to select a protein at $2-$8 or so.

I am extremely disappointed.

Many years ago, I used to go to Sage Thai on Smith St. in Brooklyn; it was my go-to spot! I frequented it at least twice a month, but then they closed the establishment. When I saw they opened a location in Williamsburg, I was really excited!

I ordered spicy wings and spicy rice with beef.

First, the woman at the counter was not pleasant at all! I didn’t feel she deserved a tip; however, since it was a takeout order, I still tipped.

Now about the food: I can still taste it, and unfortunately, it's not a good memory.

The chicken wings were old and overcooked; they were so hard and tasteless! The lettuce was disgustingly soggy, and the rice was bland and too soft.

I can’t remember the last time I had food this bad!

Food was great but service was pretty poor. We were there for a birthday and the waiter told us near the end of our meal the pastry chef had left so we couldn't have any birthday dessert. Not cool. Tasty food however.

Sage in Brooklyn is easily the best Thai food I’ve ever had. We were seated immediately, the staff was quick, helpful, and efficient, and the food came out fast—but still tasted like it was made with real care.

We started with the popcorn shrimp, and the sauce that comes with it is unreal—I literally asked for a second cup because I couldn’t get enough. My fiancée ordered the Tom Kha, and she said it was the best she’s ever had (and that’s her go-to order at Thai restaurants). Rich, creamy, perfectly balanced.

We also got a couple different curries and the drunken noodles, and all of it was top tier. The curries had that expansive, layered flavor that keeps unfolding as you eat, and the drunken noodles had a great grilled/wok-char flavor while still being saucy and not dried out.

The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, but it’s not trying to win awards for décor—and that’s fine because the food is the entire point here. If you want a “food-first” spot with incredible flavor, Sage is the move.

First, I want to begin by saying how much I loved eating at Sage. I stopped in for lunch and unfortunately witnessed an interaction that made the experience very uncomfortable. During my visit, the owner/manager was publicly scolding an employee. I did not see what led up to it, but I clearly heard the phrase “Latino estúpido güey” directed at the employee.
Regardless of the circumstances, language like this is inappropriate and unprofessional, especially in front of customers. It created an unpleasant environment and overshadowed the dining experience. Respectful treatment of staff matters. Unfortunately, my family will not be supporting your establishment anymore.

The flavor was great however I’m disappointed with veggies. I ordered vegetarian with no tofu ( so I can get more tasty vegetables so I wasn’t much excited about carrots and a few greens…).

We were in Brooklyn for a birthday party and wanted a quick bite to eat. We stopped by Sage for their brunch special, and it was a delightful, affordable treat. I got the tacos and my husband got the burger and both were well done and the perfect amount of food. They also came with a free breakfast cocktail.

The wait staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. After my husband at his bloody Mary olives, the very kind waitress got him more. I had another cocktail for 6 dollars, and got a complimentary one.

Lovely place for a calm lunch. The interior was clean and comfortable with ample space.

If you're in the neighborhood and want a simple, uncomplicated meal, I highly recommend stopping by Sage!

Delicious food, good portions, unbeatable prices. The outdoor seating is nice and very big, inside has a comfortable and cool ambiance. I recommend the lychee Thai iced tea if you’re looking for something refreshing and sweet!
