The food is great, but the level of rudeness ruined the whole experience. It looks like they were rushing me, even though I got there at 9pm. I feel that the waitress thought I was not “financially appropriate “ to be in that area because I was not groomed, basically using shorts and a t-shirt. Brooklyn Heights is a tourist spot, people go there to see the sunset, walk around Dumbo, cross the bridge… if you open a restaurant there and your staff pre judge you for your clothes or your accent (I’m latina) then this is not your place. Not mentioning that I order soup and she gave me salad, and the worst part was when she checked if I tipped her in front of me.
Don’t bother yourself going in person, ask for delivery lol

Consistently good food and great service. I love the yaki soba chicken noodles and the miso soup. The chicken teriyaki bento box with sauce on the side is great. Generous portions. I ordered no rice no salad and racially received extra miso soup. Love this place!

This place is horrible the waiters make you wait too long and the server is rude. I swear I was left here from 20 minutes until I could order anything! My server is extremely rude and when I asked a question she was extremely snarky and rude.

Remarkably gracious and effective service to our rowdy crowd of 10 including four or five young people. Terrific value… Go for the bento box, you will not be disappointed! In a way I felt like we were transported back in time 30 years given the prices and the portions. An absolute must hear in the Heights.
