I've been coming to this place for years. I live in Manhattan and take the e train to the g train. It's actually the only place that I go for sushi.

This is not hibachi. What I got was plain white rice with overcooked salmon floating in sauce and some vegetables also floating in sauce not even close to authentic hibachi. They’re charging $25 and up for something that tastes nothing like it should. When I go to a real hibachi spot, I expect combo of meat that also comes with shrimp on the side free, flavorful fried rice (not plain white), a side of vegetables, and lo mein not this watered-down version.
If you’re thinking of going, skip everything except maybe the sushi. That’s the only thing remotely decent. The rest is overpriced, disappointing, and definitely not worth your money. I left feeling like I completely wasted mine. Never again.

I’ve been a regular here for a while because the sushi is consistently fantastic—fresh, well-prepared, and always satisfying. The staff is great, and the atmosphere is generally welcoming. However, there’s one issue that really takes away from the experience: the tiny fish tank in the dining area.
It’s hard to enjoy a meal while watching fish swim in such a cramped, unnatural space. I’ve talked to friends and others who’ve been to the restaurant, and many of them feel the same way—it’s uncomfortable and kind of heartbreaking. I’ve actually stopped eating in and just order takeout now, which is disappointing because I genuinely love the place otherwise.
I hope the owners might consider donating the fish to a sanctuary or a local aquarium where they can have a more appropriate, enriched environment. It would show a lot of care and compassion, and I think it would make a big difference to a lot of customers like me who notice these things.

Best shrimp of my life?
Rolls are about as good as what you’ll get in 7eleven at 4am.

I recently dined at Sakura 6, and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Every piece of sushi was fresh and expertly crafted. The fish melted in my mouth, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The variety on the menu was impressive, offering both traditional favorites and unique rolls. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether you're a sushi lover or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must visit!! I can't wait to go back!

Ordered lunch special vegetable shrimp hibachi rice. For vegetables all you get is maybe 5 green peas. That's it. Four overcooked shrimps. There was no flavor.

The sweet potato roll stands out as a standout favorite for me, offering a culinary experience that is both memorable and deeply satisfying. Each component of the roll, from the delicate sweetness of the sweet potato to the savory richness of the nori and the perfectly cooked rice, harmonizes seamlessly to create a truly exquisite dish. The interplay of flavors and textures is nothing short of masterful, with each bite delivering a symphony of tastes that dance on the palate. On the other hand, while the yellowtail jalapeño roll was enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the same heights as the sweet potato roll. The combination of yellowtail and jalapeño provided a pleasant kick of heat and freshness, but it lacked the depth and complexity that made the sweet potato roll so remarkable. Overall, while both rolls were tasty, it was the sweet potato roll that truly stole the show with its impeccable balance and bold flavors.
