The food is always amazing no matter what you get. I’ve ordered tons of different food and it’s always excellent. Right now my favorite is the salmon and tuna poke bowl, it’s super filling and has such a good variety of delicious flavors.

I came here with a friend today. The food was okay but tasted a bit old. What concerned me was when they served me and my friend food, the woman who served us did not have any gloves on and her thumb was touching our food. It's concerning especially since I'm unsure if she washed her hands or not before serving us.

Underrated sushi joint in Bed Stuy. I ordered 33 vegan sushi rolls for my birthday dinner in the park and requested sushi platters - they did not disappoint! They gave me an abundance of sushi, soy sauce, ginger, utensils, and wasabi for all of my guests. They handled the large order with kindness and ease, and everything was ready on time. Not to mention everyone raved about how DELICIOUS the sushi was! Everyone loved the sweet potato rolls, mango avocado rolls, avocado rolls, basically everything I ordered. Thank you all so much for facilitating an amazing night!

“PLEASE RING THE BELL FOR APARTMENT R TO BE BUZZED INTO THE BUILDING. WE'RE LOCATED ON THE TOP FLOOR. PLEASE BRING OUR DELIVERY ORDER UPSTAIRS TO OUR APARTMENT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.”
Not only did the delivery person not ring the bell, he left the order outside the building and decided to call my phone to say that he left it there. I shouldn’t have to say that we tip because it’s normal with delivery. However it’s not when the delivery person doesn’t follow the request and when called to ask about what he did was totally rude, disrespectful and dismissive saying “if you have a problem just call the number.” As if he doesn’t care at all as long as he gets his tip. To make matters worse, when I got downstairs despite health issues to get the order it was torn into. If this is the kind of person Sakura Tokyo is comfortable with delivering their food and being rude to customers then I want no part of their business.
I will not recommend them to anyone else.
