After seeing this place for months around the neighborhood I was excited to try it. Unfortunately it’s just somewhere I don’t want to come back. Service and food overall were poor; our server didn’t even know the contents of the menu and seemed annoyed when we asked for recs.
Oxtail dumplings were decent and came out quick. Unfortunately the curried eggplant (bland) and dan dan noodles (imbalanced and way too spicy) took an hour to come out and weren’t worth finishing.
Btw, they add an extra 20% gratuity to every bill. Seeing the food and service, I can see why. Hate to hate a place but it’s New York- spend your money elsewhere.

First time diner at Sally 's. You can dine in or dine outdoors. The wait time was for sit-down was swift. The vibe was upbeat. The meal was delicious. I had the Guyanese vegetable lo main. Holly was our hostess. She was professional, yet very friendly. I would definitely go back to Sally's to try other dishes.

Absolutely loved the food, so so flavorful and a great variety. The cucumbers were delicious, great dumplings too and loved the pork buns! The ambiance inside is also lovely and the service was great! Highly recommend this cute spot in Bedstuy.

First time was a 8/10. The food & service was GREAT. We got seated immediately and the staff was nice which made the experience good. Lamb wontons were Perfect just a lil too spicy for myself but the flavor was on point. Crispy chicken sandwich n pulled pork was GREAT as well along with the fries n salad. The drinks were great too but I wish there was more juice given instead of ice.
Second day coming here was a 7/10 and only because of the service. The food, again, was GREAT. Home fries were good and the Sally burger was good especially for someone who doesn’t eat burgers. The service now, wasn’t so great because it took 30 mins for the server to ask us what we wanted to eat. Also, apparently we needed reservations in order to sit in the booths but that wasn’t the case when we came the first time. Otherwise the food was GREAT, just very spicy.

Really loved this place! Everything had great full flavor and the fusion aspect I feel was really intelligently done! Also I am a sucker for a frose so I will be getting that anytime it’s on the menu. The crab Rangoon were really the main hit and a stroke of genius I think. I’ll be coming back for sure!

This place has gone downhill over the years, sadly, with the food, drinks, and all service suffering. There seems to be significant staff turnover, and they are not properly trained in service or hospitality. Recently it’s been hard to come back after really slow service and subpar cocktails and today was the final straw.
I came by with my dog to grab a drink outside and was about to open the door to let someone know I was here as a staff member came outside. I asked if I could grab a table, he was polite and said he’d let someone inside know. Normal, right?
He went to the basement, so the message wasn’t passed along quickly, which was fine. The server came outside 2 minutes later and rudely and unprofessionally called out “hey” from well behind me, then told me to let the host know I’m here next time. I explained the situation and she blew me off saying “I’m just letting you know”. I let her know I was just getting a beer, she didn’t come back for about 10 minutes, so I bounced. I’ve been frequenting this place for 3 years that I’ve lived nearby and won’t be back. Don’t be rude to people.

It took 15 minutes for us to even order our drinks. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. Food came way before the drinks and we basically finished eating before our drinks even came to the table. The server never came back to the table and never asked us if we wanted anything else, and then proceeded to drop the check only an hour into our reservation without saying anything to us. After 10 minutes of trying to flag him down, he let us know that if we weren’t going to order more food we needed to give up the table. How were we to order more food since he never came back to the table?? After such terrible service we decided to close out & leave. The food and drinks here are great, but every time I come here the service is atrocious. We won’t be back.

Horrible service, went for the Love Island viewing and made a reservation (since that’s what the instagram said to do) then we ordered apps and drinks and then the server didn’t come over to us for 45 minutes and then dropped the check without saying a word to us. When we asked why they’re basically kicking us out he said we needed to order more food to stay at the table (even though he never came over again to even ask if we wanted more food or drinks). We were going to spend so much more money if they would’ve just asked!
