Food took too long only to arrive cold. Tinolang maya maya arrived when we were almost done. Lumpia arrived when we were done eating. Bank locked my card after cashier attempted to push payment 4x without asking me to input pin. Wanted to settle with manager but no manager appeared after almost an hour waiting. No resolution.

Amazing food, Sal’s never disappoints. Been coming for years to this black-owned halal restaurant, after my dad first introduced me, and I have never had a bad experience. Sal and Mohamed are very sweet and helpful — will always be a local staple!

Unpretentious counter serving delicious sandwiches and breakfast options. Their Ham, Egg and Cheese croissant sandwich is the best sandwich around!

EDIT: I have since moved out of NYC and sorely miss Sal's. Any chance y'all want to open an outpost in Dallas? Texans need to be introduced to places like this as well as proper bodegas! ;)

This was my first breakfast in Brooklyn and it did not disappoint. The turkey and egg on a bagel was so soft and delightful. Sal's is ?
