Sama Street made me and my tummy happy from start to end. I'm not sure how it's such a hidden gem given the quality and creativity of the food and drinks and all around great vibe.

I showed up shortly after open to a completely empty restaurant, so the bartender, Jamie, suggested some delicious drinks (not that you can go wrong with any of them). Of the few drinks I had, my least favorite (but still solid) was the Jacket Required, which is really just a slightly modified old fashioned. Everything else was incredible - some ingredients seem out there and might might throw you off, but every drink I had was really more than just the sum of its parts.

Food was also great, especially if you're into family style meals. Skewers were cooked to perfection, bok choy wasn't just tossed in some soy sauce, flat noodles were great. The sundae dessert included some of the tastiest and unique ice cream flavors I'd ever had, made in house.

Overall will definitely be back.

Writing this as a vegetarian. We tried the shroom salad, baby bok choy, tofu and crispy fried rice. Everything was good but not great. However, the tofu was too salty.
The drinks were amazing and the bartender did a phenomenal job of explaining them to us.

Randomly stopped in. Holy crap. If you’re second guessing, just go in! The food was delicious, the drinks incredibly different. This is the place you go for dinner and drinks, you can’t do this at home most likely - you know? Chicken satay was OOTW, fried rice incredible.

I’m dumbfounded that this place isn’t packed to the brim- better to not word of let this secret gem or else I’ll have to wait longer when I visit. Amazing creative cocktails that aren’t sweet and sugary. Killer food with real flavor and just the right amount of kick. Top it off with great ambiance and service and it’s just an easy decision.

Heard a lot of good things about this place. And it’s not disappointing at all. If you’re cocktail lovers then this is the one. I ordered 7 long years, guava cake and Major Tom. They are very smooth and unique.
The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is very friendly. Will come next time to try their food.

Such yummy food and even better service! Sat down at the lounge area and was immediately warmly greeted by wife + owner. Everything they recommended was superb! I had the Eastern Medicine, (best whiskey drink!) Lucy Liu, and Cheat Day drinks, all great! The shots are mini cocktails which was interesting. The steak & chicken skewers were seasoned very well along with the fries. My absolute favorite was the fresh calamari with sauce, YUM! Will be right back!

If you like great cocktails, good food and friendly service than look no further. Samoa street is your spot. Get the Shanghai buck you won’t regret it and try the major tom if you are looking for a new and interesting flavor. It’s rare that a cocktail bar has drinks with intriguing and new flavors to try. Samoa street executes on their drinks, food and ambience. Try it out you won’t regret.
