Very mid food. Underseasoned chicken. My wrap was 90% pickled vegetables. I won’t return. Too many other good spots to try.Food was ready for pick up on time. Atmosphere is fine for quick lunch.

Ordered the chickpea seitan wrap and OMG ! It was so good. From the fresh lavash wrap, the crunchy cabbage, cucumbers and tomatoes, and hummus (you can taste the freshness of all the ingredients), it was one of the best meals from a middle eastern restaurant I have ever had in the US!Dietary restrictions: Options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.

Great Mediterranean restaurant in Rock Center! Found this place through yelp actually and decided to give it a try. All I can say is how incredible it is. For starters, the portion size - could easily be shared amongst 2 people. The chicken is so tender and delicious. The salad itself was filled with so much flavor and felt so healthy. High quality ingredients at a fairly low price...can't go wrong

Really liked the vegan lamb. Its texture and taste were incredibly similar to a lamb kofta. The sauce was spicy! But offset with a really good salad. The server put up with us umm'ing and ah'ing about what we're going to have. And a couple of requests that had them searching for things. So got to give them credit there. In the basement of the Rockefeller center, so it can be a bit busy outside. But we had the entire place to ourselves which is surprising given the quality of the food.

Very rude. We had a large family that spent over 70$ here, but had 2 people with food restrictions and couldn’t eat there. They yelled at us for having 2 out of 7 people eat outside food, and threatened security on an eight year old. We were the ONLY people in the entire restaurant for our entire visit, and everyone else just walked past—I get that now.

The flavors were there. Appreciative of the vegan options. Staff was rude and served me a cold pita roll. I don't know if the food is pre made or if they make to order but the pita roll was so cold and they wouldn't warm it for me I was confused. If this place was make to order and toppings could be customized for allergies the food would be much better. I wish I could say I would go back because the flavors and vegan options are great but no one wants a cold pita.

Look you can’t be picky with vegan meats but the lamb was inedible. And the rest of the bowl — nearly $23 with missing ingredients— didn’t make up for it.The upside is that the line is shorter than sweetgreen but that’s about it.

Spend money on terrible food is the worst feeling. This is saltier than the ocean water. Disgusting ?

After visiting Samesa for the first time last week, I can confidently say the small but mighty Mediterranean restaurant makes one of the most authentic, high quality, and delicious shawarmas I've had in my lifetime. It's been a personal mission of mine to find shawarma in the United States that competes with what we get in Israel. Samesa fills that void and I am a happier, better fed person because of it. Outstanding.

We chose Samesa to cater a 110-person event for our organization in May. Guests were raving about the delicious food, and the delivery and service were impeccable. Eli was wonderful to work with. He was accommodating of dietary restrictions within the group, and made the entire ordering process so easy. We will definitely be ordering from Samesa again!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were substantial and delicious!Dietary restrictions: We asked for vegetarian, nut-free, and gluten-free options, and they were happy to accommodate.

Perfect spot to escape the crush of Midtown & have a delicious lunch - great food & great vibes. Shawarma is incredible, but the real star was the avocado hummus. You immediately get a sense of the great care put into the space walking through the door - warm, welcoming & friendly. Great jams from the record player! Highly recommend & will absolutely be back!

Egg and eggplant pita wrap. Dried out thin pita. Tasted more like a dried out flour tortilla. Lots of pickled veggies and no egg. Not good. Threw it away. Another overpriced Rockefeller Center lunch place.

Decided to try this instead of my ususalFavorite down the hall- Fieldtrip. Wrong decision, was overpriced, chicken was dry and tough, tomatoes were soggy, rice was salty..And I wanted hot sauce- the woman was going to charge me extra for this. I have never been charged for asking for hot sauce for food. Not going back, whole experience was bad.

Disappointed....I might try the salad next time to see how that is because the sandwich was dry and cold. I expected the chicken to at least be lukewarm. The seasoning was good.

Great food. Great service. Downstairs in 30 Rock. Quaint atmosphere. Heard a lot about this restaurant. Wanted to check it out in person. Met the owner, Eli. Great guy. Staff nice and helpful. Yummy lunch. Highly recommend.
