Food is great. Sadly I had to stop going there since I found out they use 1 grill for everything. So the pork mixes with non pork. I can't eat pork or anything that mixes with it. I hope one day they add an extra grill in the future. Than I'd come back. I was a daily buyer from them. I'd give them a 5 star but the issue is I've been eating food laced with pork since it's all mixed in 1 grill. If they ever get an extra grill I'll definitely change it to a 5 and start coming back.

What I look for in a good Bagel place is the bagel tasting good, cream cheese being quality and since I like Lox a decent flavor from that. I tried Sam's today and it hit the sweet spot on all three. Bagels were soft, tasty and good quality. Tried the scallion cream cheese, they put a decent amount on and it was also good. Finally the lox. I have been looking for a new bagel place for a while. Prefer lox not to have an overwhelming fishy taste but a little is understandable. This was enjoyable. Overall I think this is a good place and their staff is friendly and helpful. Worth a try.

This is my all-time favorite bagel shop, and I make a point of pucking up a dozen whenever I'm in Bay Ridge. Bagels are always fresh and I'm fond of their cream cheese variations. I usually go first thing in the morning, so it's busy, but service is great, so I'm in and out. FYI, if you order a dozen, they throw in 2 free bagels, so be prepared!

Sams is my #1 bagels spot. Bagels are baked fresh on site. It's not a huge place, but they do have seating available. It's a clean environment. They are quick to take your order and typically serve you fast.
