This review is hard to write as I knew Sancho's from the day it opened. I had many meals there that were out of this world. Sadly the new regime is not living up the old reputation. We went there hoping to relive a previous great dining experience, however the new owners are incapable of serving a true Spanish colonial meal of any merit.
The food was very good, the restaurant is warm and lovely. I’ll definitely go back.
This restaurant deserves a 0 star option! This place needs to be shut down. The cooks are serving seafood that smells like it came from a horse pen, I am surprised it didn’t give us food poisoning. I am never ever a person to complain and I hate when people do for little reasons, but this was the most disgusting food I have ever smelt in my life, I didn’t even taste it. I’m so sorry for the waitress because she was so nice, but definitely needed to be trained on the food. We walked out!
The ambiance was lovely. Unfortunately the food was awful. The staff was great. Very polite.
Used to be a good Spanish restaurant. Highly disappointed, very small amount of reheat food, no seafood taste at all and paying very expensive. Horrible experience. They scammed us pretty well.
Nice food and friendly and attentive waiters.
WORST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD ! ( I've been to1000 restaurants in 100 countries, and never had an experience like this. I want my 4 HOURS and $400 back.) There should be a 0 star option. We went because I heard good reviews, and didn't know they changed hands. This crew didn't know how to cook or serve. The appetizer croquets were probably frozen and not cooked through. Steak and shrimp: inedible. We tasted one pitcher of sangria, and told them not to bring the others. The staff was friendly but never worked in a restaurant. We'd order something, and they said "point to the picture in the menu". They didn't know what anything was, and served the wrong food to each person. They brought 1/2 the peoples' food and thought they were done. I finished eating and they didn't know what the guy next to me ordered yet. Someone ordered a coke, and the waitress had to go get the other waitress to find out how to open a can and serve a coke?? It was like a comedy movie, but you wouldn't think it was realistic.
Ive never been to this place but wanted to try it out, I showed up to this place at 6 pm, this place is supposedly open till 10pm…why is this restaurant closed? I’m hearing people claim it’s because they’re on their “lunch break” which is absurd and absolutely ridiculous. Will not be coming back. Totally unprofessional.
If I could give - 0- stars I would. Waitresses in training and food served cold. Appetizers and main courses served together. Shrimp in garlic served cold and shrimp overcooked. Steak like shoeleather. Be kind to yourself and dine elsewhere. It's a kitchen nightmare that will become your nightmare.
That is most disgusting service with awfully prepared food and watery sangria I ever got in Brooklyn. Waitress does not understand when you order in English. We waited 1 hour for ordered 4 appetizers but received 2. When i cancelled the order they tried to charge us for almost prepared food. Do not come here.

Nice ambient, attention excellent. Food was ok. Prices reasonable. My sangria pitcher customized was excellent. Thanks!
The place is clean great customer service if took a while to get the food but it was worth it. Everything we order was delicious definitely going back.
First of all this is not any more Spanish restaurant, but fast food place with a slow moving staff . They didn’t bring us what we ordered , instead of a half sangria carafe, brought us a pitcher of something tasting like rotten apples, no wine , only house made with an also terrible taste. My chicken in sherry sauce was dry and cold, I couldn’t find any trace of sherry on that tiny plate, like that was not enough my companion’s dinner never camebut only $10 worth spoon of rice on the saucer with potatoes chips from a bag instead of beans we ordered. We didn’t finish , got up and left paying for two small appetizers, small soup , unfortunate chicken and rotten “sangria” over $100!!!!Please spare yourself a pain of going there
Not like the old Sanchos. No liquor license. Food not the same. Always empty when we go. But the service is great.
Food is awful...shrimp cocktail 10.95 four small shrimp served with Italian pasta sauce not cocktail sauce...so gross. The place was totally empty for a reason. Will never go back
