The corn meal porridge is delicious! Whilst the bake, salt fish and callaloo are the perfect balance without being overly salty. Fresh ingredients make it all worth while to take a detour before work❤️

I go here at least once a week. Their lunch specials are a great deal. So far I have gotten their Jerk Chicken, Jerk pork (my favorite lunch special), curry goat, and ox tail (not sure if they have a lunch special).

Sandy Beaches took over the old Golden Crust space on Lawrence Street in Downtown Brooklyn. I’ve been eating here since they changed over and the food is absolutely outstanding. The oxtails and accompanying rice and peas are intensely flavorful. I’ve also had their jerk pork, which was cooked to perfection. They offer lunch specials daily - I could literally eat the brown stew chicken sauce over rice every day for the rest of my life.Do yourself a favor. Try this oasis...
