When I walked into Sapporo on 3rd Avenue, I wasn’t expecting much beyond another neighborhood joint—but that first trip completely changed my dining routine. From the moment I sat down, the vibe was relaxed and welcoming, and everything felt just right.

I’ve been coming to Sapporo for 6 years, both take out and eat in. It’s my favorite sushi spot in Bay Ridge. The sushi is fresh, never delayed longer than estimated and I am always greeted with a smile from the staff. I’ve been to sushi spots throughout the city, but always circle back to Sapporo for the sushi that tastes like home 😊.
