I had a really thoughtful and lovely experience here. We were celebrating a birthday and the team - starting with the door guy and then to the lead/captain, whatever they call it. They made sure to help us out in any way possible and I was fully ready to have a typical ny experience, where they just have no patience for groups. Cool wine bar in Brooklyn. Wine was amazing and food really nice. Good music, nice people around. However terrible service. I come from France and I know the kind of atmosphere the owner might have wanted to reproduce. But this blonde curly hair waiter was pushing me to close out the bill as soon as I can, I hardly have time to finish my drink that the glass is gone.. when I ask “do we have to pay for the bread” the answer was “we don’t give you food for free”, really rude and unnecessary. I feel like I’m here just for “paying something”. I really don’t like this and it’s a shame because the quality of drinks/food is another level… please improve your service !!!!!

Who is Pasha, the bartender. To the blind, light. To the deaf, music. To those with no voice, Pasha is the words they wish they could say. When my wife went into cardiac arrest, Pasha resuscitated her. Her recovery can only be attributed to Pasha’s in depth knowledge of everything that is good for the human body. I think I might be in love, debating a divorce. Don’t tell my wife. Butttttttt. Francois was also exceptional.

I’m born and raised in Brooklyn and the way the white server with blonde curly hair was treating us was pathetic. First he wants us to pay right away while all the other white people don’t pay at all. He must of thought cause I was speaking Spanish to my friend that we weren’t going to pay. How pathetic and offensive. Oh and by the way they didn’t take cash cause we Spanish. By the way I paid with my American Express card and then I asked if they take cash and bizarrely the same white blonde curly haired server says they don’t. And they have no postage or anything saying they don’t take cash. I think he was just being racist and didn’t want to take our cash like if it’s poison or something. Very disappointed in this place. I will not go back and will not recommend this place. Very pretentious and very racist. Mostly white and they see a person of color and they get scared. It’s disgraceful and I’m sure that server is not from here cause my real NY people don’t act that way.
