Cloudy Mix

I've been to this club a handful of times and had great experiences each visit! The disco balls and lights make for great atmosphere during their Daft Disko parties! (If you're looking for a similar vibe of future funk/disco, look up Yoi Toki parties on Instagram that are hosted here as well, so much fun and the vibes are immaculate!)Lots of space to dance, and there is seating off to the sides when you need a break. It can get crowded midway through the night so coming right when they open at 10pm is a great idea if you want more room.Drinks are okay, not the best I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. Expensive, but that's due to the location, so I don't count that against them. I suggest just getting shots to be economical.Coat check is 4 bucks and never had any trouble with security here. The ladies who check your bags and give you a pat down are polite and friendly and keep the line moving to get everyone inside in a timely manner.Food trucks are nearby and open all night, great for a quick snack after drinking and dancing all night. Usually Mexican food, I suggest getting a chicken quesadilla and horchata, can't go wrong with those.

The place is kinda lame. Don't support this business when there are much better bars and clubs literally right around the corner. Security and staff at entrance is disrespectful for no reason. Drinks are overpriced and sound system is mediocre.

I came here for the tame impala dance party. The DJ was awful, he would play songs from beginning to end, no transitions at all, he also barely played any actual songs by tame impala. A lot of songs were just similar indie songs which is fine but that shouldn't make up the majority of the playlist. The drinks suck and are super overpriced, and overall the place needs a revamp because the layout of the room and the decor makes it look like a senior prom dance. I just don't understand the hype about this place and I probably won't be coming back.

Leaving a petty review just because they wouldn’t give me a cup of water at the bar when I was feeling faint from dancing and I had been buying HIGHLY overpriced alcohol from them all night so I just felt like it was the decent thing to do as an establishment taking care of drunk people not to try and charge me $5 for it. And shots should not be $12, couldn’t even get a beer for less than $9. Otherwise the night was decently good, I enjoyed the music but there was virtually no transitions between songs and they couldve used more beat/added elements. I feel like they were trying extra hard to be respectful when patting people down at the door and there were places to sit down which was good!

It's a dance club! I heard if you arrive early, it's free. I walked in with my friends around 10:30 PM, and there was a cover charge for techno nite. The DJ was amazing! I loved the music and it genuinely had a great vibe. There was electronic beats, top 40, pop, all remixed, mad it was pretty good. They have a coat check. I would go back.

Never been to a bar— let alone a dance club— that didn’t have free water. Not just illegal but dangerous and extremely antagonistic to guests. What a joke.

Went for halloween and the drinks were reasonably priced but the DJ kept screaming over the music which was really annoying.

Most unprofessional and disrespectful staff in NYC. My friends and I bought a VIP table and were treated so terribly by the staff. Lots of yelling and aggression. This is how you treat your patrons? Do they only act like this on “Hip-Hop night” ?

It’s a great time and has a really good space for parties and middle tier to up and coming talent but “Bro culture” continues to seep in from Manhattan so very belligerent and annoying people can be found here on select nights. Sound & projections are great though.

When I got there, it was empty, and they made people wait on line for an hour. Not only that, I’m appalled by how they treated me when I needed to take a family call. When I tried to get back in, they kicked me out of the bar, I couldn’t even pay for a ticket back. Any place that treats their customers like this is a place I will never go back to.

One of the security guards is a creeper. Happened last time I was at schimmi's years ago and then again tonight. Woof, this is why no one likes coming here anymore.
