When I was in active use I had a partner who was also in active use and when he passed away unexpectedly I knew it was time for me to get sober. 4 months later I became a client at Realization Center and 4 months after that I stopped using. I have been sober for 22 months and I am a full-time student. It's thanks to Realization Center that I can live a truthful, sober and fulfilling life. I recently completed my court mandated obligation at realization center in Brooklyn. Like so many others i was skeptical because i didn't want to be there. Well, that all changed once i began attending regular groups. This is a place that will give you the help you need as well as the help you don't even know you need. The entire staff is professional, caring and genuine, especially, Shorona, Cindy & Theresa. Realization center is for those who can face the fact that some things are mightier than us. It's here, because of these women that I came out fixed and complete after going in a broken man. So if ur struggling, do yourself a favor and get down to realization center. REALIZATION CENTER has been hands down a life changing experience. In a nurturing and supportive environment, I have been able to lay down a foundation for sober living. With the assistance from clinical director Wilda Molina and my clinician/ counselor Tressa Tucker, in one on one sessions and group sessions a program that was specifically tailored for my needs as an individual was established. In the eight months that I have been here, I feel that I have laid a strong foundation for continued sobriety. I can truly say that I am not the same person that I was before coming to treatment. I am profoundly grateful for having been able to get the help I needed at REALIZATION CENTER. Lastly, I would be remiss not to acknowledge the support staff.
