The sandwiches here are amazing. Some of the best sourdough bread I’ve had in NYC.

Delicious sandwiches on fantastic house made bread, pact full with rich flavor combinations. The staff (it’s worker owned) are all really friendly and thoughtful. We will be back for sure!

That sandwich in focaccia bread was everything. It was hitting all the notes of sweet, salty, sour, crispy, crunchy, oily, I savored every last bit.
The sandwich shop itself is quaint, there's sliding scale prices on sandwiches, you can sit at the table in the big window, or outside, it's a nice peaceful block.
I look forward to returning and trying more sandwiches and I'm a vegan! They had options to make several sandwiches vegan and I was completely satisfied. Also got a strawberry lemonade, mmmm, yum tasted very freshly made with real fruit and not too sweet. Got my favorite voodoo chips. There's some deli sides, but I don't think any of them are vegan and there's some breakfast sandwiches, including a vegan option.
I trust them here, they make good food.
Vegetarian options: Pastries, sandwiches, deli sides, everything has a vegetarian option.
But I'm vegan and even I was happy with the sandwich selection that you can order vegan.

I’m currently on vacation and having a blast but I’m also a little sad that I won’t be able to stop by Sea & Soil this week for a sandwich and donuts on Sunday.
Their sandwiches (and donuts, pastries, pop-up events, and everything I’ve ever ordered from here) are all so good that they are on my mind even while out of town! Such unique flavor combinations that are out of this world.
Not to mention that Gaby and Noah and the rest of the staff are so friendly and kind every time you stop by and I look forward to seeing what other creations they they come up in the kitchen!
Side note: their focaccia pockets are the perfect plane snack.

Such a cute location with great sandwiches! Service is great- very personalized. The owners work there themselves. Vegan options are tasty. Non-vegan options too! They know their neighbors and are definitely trying to give back to the community. Hats off to this wonderful neighborhood gem.

As a local realtor of this wonderful community, I can confidently say that Sea & Soil is a gem in our neighborhood. This charming sandwich shop, run by dedicated owners who pour their heart and soul into every dish, offers a dining experience that is truly exceptional. When someone puts such care into their food, you can absolutely taste the difference.
Every sandwich on the menu is unique and bursting with an array of flavors. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegan, there's something delightful waiting for you. While the vegan options are impressive, I couldn't resist the house smoked Brisket and the Lulu (check menu). Both were outstanding and left me eager to return for more.
Trying their coffee is next on my list, and I can't wait to see how it complements their already impressive offerings.
One unique aspect of Sea & Soil is their sliding scale pricing system. Initially, I found it a bit confusing, but once I understood the concept, I realized what a brilliant idea it is. If you have more to give, you can support the shop and your community by paying a bit extra. If you're going through a tough time financially, you can still enjoy fresh, delicious food without breaking the bank. This system reflects the community spirit that makes our area so special.
I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is one spot you won't want to miss.

Since Sea & Soil opened earlier this year they’ve become my gf and I’s favorite local food spot. I am not exaggerating when I say we eat there at least 3 times a week. The food is delicious and the flavors are creative, unlike anything i’ve seen at other sandwich spots! Their bread is consistently delicious and fresh and their sunday donuts are drool worthy. Another thing we love about this place is that it is sliding scale and worker owned. Gaby and Noah are so kind, they clearly care about every ingredient they use, and i know when i go there that I’m supporting a business that cares not only about their work but the community they serve. Their sliding scale pricing has guaranteed that we can get good food even when I was temporarily unemployed. We brag about this place to everyone that will listen. If you haven’t tried Sea & Soil yet you’re missing out!!
