The best in real soul food cooking ike your grandma made not your sister. I can only testify to bbq chicken the collard greens are on point. They serve an array of desserts from cheese cake to peach cobbler. Decor is takeout and old school feel nothing fancy it but they don't disappoint.

Food is amazing!! Everytime I'm in BK I stop here. Being from the south it's hard to find good soul food in NYC but this is on par with the south! I saw that they added outdoor seating so I'm looking forward to getting a plate and sitting outside when summer hits!

Food is disgusting, don’t be fooled by those good reviews... those are friends or family members because it’s no way a sane person would think this food is “tasty” or “good old fashioned southern comfort food”... it’s a lie! The macaroni and cheese is trash and has a unidentifiable taste, chicken and fish is under seasoned but fried well, the greens were soggy and sweet. The food was inedible and I actually threw it in the trash. Stay away!

I don't usually eat soul food because there are not that many places in my neighborhood. Had lunch here the other day. it was so tasty. Now i have a craving to go back for more!

I visited early Thanksgiving week and was highly disappointed. I barely ate a thing I ordered the ribs with candied yams stuffing and collard and all I consumed was the stuffing I threw the rest away. The customer service was great energy was great I think it was just a bad day

Good ole fashion soul food. Lines are long, because they are a little slow but most of the time it's worth the wait but you gotta stay on top of them. The beef ribs is everything.
They offer an awesome variety of fresh food. I enjoyed eating here. Staff members are always very kind, prices are convenient and the spot is always well organised.
