Sergio’s is one of those rare New York institutions that has survived not by chasing trends, but by ignoring them entirely. Since 1975, this corner shop has practiced a kind of culinary minimalism: no sourdough theatrics, no artisanal posturing, no attempts to reinvent the slice. What you find instead is honest, well‑balanced pizza, prepared with a consistency that borders on craft.
The room carries the quiet rhythm of a place that serves its neighborhood rather than the algorithm. The clientele is exclusively local, families sharing pies, couples stopping in after work, kids negotiating for one more slice. There are no destination diners, no food‑tour pilgrims, no influencers staging content. Sergio’s is not a performance; it is a service.
The pizza reflects that ethos. The chicken and spinach Alfredo slice is unexpectedly elegant: a restrained creaminess, a clean melt, and a topping distribution that shows someone is paying attention. The crust holds its structure without calling attention to itself. It’s comfort executed with intention.
My six‑year‑old granddaughter Joy ordered a cheese slice, finished it, and immediately asked for another. There is no higher form of praise in the world of pizza than a child’s unfiltered enthusiasm. Her reaction captured what Sergio’s does best: food that is simple, satisfying, and quietly excellent.
Sergio’s endures because it understands its role. It feeds a community with dignity and consistency, offering a slice that may not demand a journey, but rewards anyone lucky enough to live nearby.

Upon arrival i was impressed with the presentation and the many options to choose from... I was greeted by the Manager, who appears to be bubbly and kind... I had 2 slices to go Pepperoni and Regular and it was flavorful.... The dough was soft ,the tomato sauce with the cheese gave a true Italian flavor.. We will be back ...

Delicious!!! I pass this place all the time and finally got take out. The garlic rolls were heavenly. Service was great. They had a great buy one get one special and it was enough food to feed a party of fifteen people. Would eat here again.

I have to say how disappointed I am after receiving my order today. I always vouche for this place and even tell other ppl how good they r….until TODAY. The young lady that works there displayed some very nasty ways and because of that, I will no longer be buying food from here. She came out the back eating a chicken wing and licked and sucked on her fingers and then TRIED to cut my pizza after it came out the oven. I stopped her and asked if that was for me, she said yes, I said u need to waste it hands, u were just licking and sucking ur fingers, that’s not cool. She gave the other guy the cutter and told him that he can cut my pizza. I SHOULD have asked for my money back and called it a day but I won’t be returning smh. So so disappointed that she thought that was ok smh

We ordered a cheese pie, we got the delivery and as soon as we opened the box. There was aluminum foil on 4 out of the 8 slices. We called the location to let them know. They did not give 0 care. This pizza was made yesterday, over night they wrapped it in foil and reheated for delivery for next day. Again management gave 0 care about this situation. They did not offer a new fresh pie, or a refund. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

Pieces of Aluminum foil all over the pizza. The kid at the pizzeria says its fresh pizza made. I am sure, it was wrapped in foil and thrown in the freezer. Never offered to remake a fresh pizza. Horrible, trust me not worth it.

The meatball pizza wasn't that bad, but it wasn't good enough to order a second time. Just average.

Got two large cheese pies delivered. Maybe the worst pizza I've had in brooklyn. I would rather grab a slice from a high school cafeteria

This is probably the worst pizza I have ever eaten. I got four pies (BOGO) on uber eats, and I regret ordering from this place. Not only did the delivery guy handle my pizza poorly (see pics), but the pizza is not tasty. In fact, its just disgusting. I ordered a spinach pie and they clearly used frozen spinach, which is fine. But there's barely any cheese on the pizza, the.crust is soggy and it just.tastes terrible. I do not recommend this place
