Blue Hill Bay pickled herring is awesome. Raised in Milwaukee I ate MaBaensch herring most of my life. I believe Blue Hill Bay is just as good. Maybe better.
I purchased lox from my local grocery store and come to find there’s no expiration date on the packaging. I’ve called several times to investigate this and have not heard back. Isn’t it against all health codes to not have an expiration date?
