Sey Coffee in Bushwick just raised the bar for my New York coffee runs. I came in chasing a true light roast and landed on their Colombian Pink Bourbon flat white…fruity notes that stayed bright from first sip to last. I am so happy this is my local coffee shop. They take amazing care with sourcing their beans and roasting in back, and it pays off in rich smooth espresso drinks that are step above anyone else. Capuccino is my go to, and the one's here are a real treat.

Everything here seemed to revolve around the roast. No trendy drinks, no syrups, just coffee and tea. They rotate the roast for their iced coffee, and the one they were using when I went was incredibly fruity. Even served cold, it maintained onto that bright acidity you usually only get from a well-made filtered coffee.
The best part was that they serve it with a free cup of sparkling water. Taking...
