Literally a time machine to old school Brooklyn that I grew up with! Shaikh's is conveniently located by the Avenue U station on the Q (Brighton Line) and the B3 bus. All of their donuts are homemade and you could snag a dozen donuts of your choice, including the 13th one for $11.75 (early 2026). These are your traditional donuts, not too sweet or plain, just right! Also, this is a cash only shoppe, so make sure to bring cash and share some delightfulness with your friends & family!

Best Donuts in BROOKLYN. They are 1000% better than Dunkin Donuts. They will still be fresh a day or two after buying them. The only problem is you will eat them all before that time.

After a week of my son talking non stop of this donut shop because he saw it through his social media and finally gave in and I gotta say they're variety of donuts is delicious and I'm a one type of donut person specifically chocolate and I love that it's delicious but not to sweet...I will start recommending and buying here instead of the competitors(DD)

I lived a block away from the donut shop from 1981 to 1999. This donut shop is exactly the same. Wow I have to revisit this shop. I wonder if they still serve eggs and home potatoes.
