Shaking Crab (Williamsburg)

Food was HORRIBLE. I HAD SNOW CRAB LES AND MUSSELS. SIDE ORDER OF FRIED CORN. THE CORN WWS OLD AND BURT SND THE SEAFOOD WWS OLD. I THROUGH THE ENTIRE BAG IN THE GARBAGE. The time I ordered it was 10033. $64. 50. Bought time I got home the store was closed. Nastiest food ever.

Such a cozy place to enjoy great food. My mother and I’s favourite. Get the fried pickles and mojito! Drinks HIT the spot.

Had a great time here for a Sunday afternoon lunch. It wasn’t too crowded. Brandon was an awesome server and the food was great!

The food was incredible and ambiance was a vibe! We got the Jumbo shaker tray and the shaking sauce was AMAZING! The server Kaden made us feel right at home and was hilarious. We even got to take shots with the head chef at the end. Also, MUST try the banana pudding. Absolutely coming back soon!!

Food was great, but they charged us 9$ to take the heads off of our shrimp. The waiter didn't say this would be an up charge, he just asked if we wanted them shelled or not, and then tacked on a charge when we got the bill. We felt frustrated by this bc service was not very good overall and we were forced to tip like 40$ because of how the gratuity system works when we had felt pretty scammed.

Ordered on DoorDash for pickup and everything was great! I got the Shaking sauce and it was super flavorful and fresh. It was a little heavy on the garlic for my taste, but still a solid 9/10. The seafood was really fresh, and the portion size was generous. I ordered one serving, but with sides it could easily feed two. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been there 3 times, and I love it every time. I order something different every time and I’m never disappointed. But, my last visit I wasn’t super hungry so I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. When I tell you, it is the BEST Mac and cheese EVER 😊is an understatement. I can’t wait to go back ser what I get 😃.

The food here was truly excellent, but I was disappointed by the way the tip was handled. Our server added nearly $60 as a tip,, the highest percentage, without asking us first. When we brought it up, he explained that the tip was already included, but the way it was done felt confusing and left a bad impression.
This restaurant has wonderful food and great potential, but actions like this could hurt its reputation. I hope management addresses the issue so guests can enjoy the dining experience without worrying about being overcharged!

Took my girlfriend here so she could try crab for the first time. The crab was very nicely cooked and had a lot of meat inside. The flavor option we picked was super tasty as well. Giving this 4 instead of 5 stars due to lack of crackers and wet wipes which I think are crucial for hands on seafood places. Cheers
