I recently enjoyed a latte at Kings Highway Espresso Bar and it was absolutely fantastic. The rich, velvety blend of coffee and perfectly frothed milk made for a delightful treat. I'll be returning for

If you like being ALONE & you appreciate a SIMPLE menu & you're looking for a place for respite after a long day of work in Bensonhurst, this is your place. You'll love it.The barista allowed me to change my order of a small espresso to a small macchiato with no hesitation. When I ordered a simple, plain crossoint, she asked if I wanted it hot or cold. I knew that even if it was a tiny gesture and she's just doing her job, she truly didn't have to ask--especially since I was the only person in there. I was grateful for the accommodation. My only reason for visiting is because, as usual, I skipped lunch at work & needed a place to sit quietly & eat for some time like I do near home. There's nothing else in this section of Kings Highway, so I just had to do it.Three other customers came in on a quiet Monday so I'm not quite sure why others are complaining in their reviews. If you want simple and straightforward, come here. If you're looking for overdone, flashy, and gaudy, go elsewhere. This place practically screams European and, frankly, I liked it.If you want frills, go to Starbucks.I have a family friend (retired) who has told tales of going to the Russian Tea Room decades ago... I imagine that this is the modern, Bensonhurst, espresso version of that.I hope and pray that I have more (social) reasons to come here again. Thank you for keeping the European population of Brooklyn alive!

It’s not bad.It sells coffee. The coffee tastes fine. They ask you what you want when you enter. It’s not the type of place you visit if you want an Applebee’s style hearty welcome and attentive service. You go when you want coffee.I’d go back if I wanted coffee and I was strolling nearby.

It is unfortunate for me to say that this place is somehow still open.It appears they not only went full-on fascist (openly having people with bullhorns and political advertisements for far-right, anti-democracy election-denying candidates (today in particular was really bad) but they also seem to have gotten rid seemingly most of their competent English-speaking employees. Not only that, but the last few times I tried to get a coffee here, they don't have the ingredients to make what i ask for... want a Latte? Kick rocks. Want something with mocha in it? Don't come in here. So if you're okay with giving your money to a full-on anti-democracy election-denying business owner (by the looks of the political activists and fliers they allow to be posted all over their property, especially today and this week) then, by all means, try your luck at somehow coming on a day and time they actually have the ingredients ready to make the drink you want... and if you can also get someone that can understand and respond in proper English... you might have hit a place that's for you.But if you care about getting the actual drink you want, being able to speak to someone that competently understands and can speak English or just knowing you're giving your money to a business owner that's at LEAST politically neutral (not directly hostile to your political beliefs) this might not be the place for you.Not sure why they felt so strongly about hating money (at least that's how it seems) that they seem to be going through everything they can to reduce their clientele as much as humanly possible, but I'll do my part and let our neighborhood peeps know exactly what is happening there so they can make an informed decision if they want to spend, or recommend that other people they know spend money in a location that's run by people who are okay with.... this... To be honest I'm actually somewhat surprised this place has even been able to stay open lately based on how I've heard locally from my neighborhood connections here that they treat their employees.... like.... well let's just say I wouldn't suggest you let a relative you care about accidentally apply for a job in a place like this with the current business owner that's currently there running things... JUST SAYIN........ probably a great place to get a "I hate half of all of my customers based on their political beliefs" cappucino or a "I treat my workers poorly" espresso. ... and even better drink I've heard is good there is the "we don't believe your vote should count, anti-democracy, election-denying" Americano. But this is, of course, only if you've decided, based on known information, if this is a place you'd want to be separated form your money. The power is yours to choose.

Horrible place to work seriously, they over work they're employees especially if they're minors. The head women who runs it is extremely rude and fired me over having covid. She expected me to come to work and spread it, even though it risks the health and safety of customers. I would not ever recommend coming here or working here.

Coffee is good but the pastries are 2 weeks expired. Bought a chocolate croissant on 7/21 that expired 7/10.
