Went to Sharlene’s last night for the first time, after being recommended by a friend. Immediately fell in love with the kind atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks!
The bartenders were all incredibly kind, and even though it was my first time there, I felt as if I was being welcomed by a community! I will sing praises of this place to all of my friends for years to come 💕

All of them pick and choose despite you tipping or whatever they want. As a highend bartender myself, all of theiir behavior is absurd and will talk about you in front of your face and skip you , all of a ‘sudden’ they don’t notice u lol girl bye

90% of the time a great place for happy hour and usually into the night as well. One terrible evening bartender ruins the vibe though practically every time bringing their terrible attitude and personal problems to work. They have the worst demeanor and behave rudely to customers because they happen to be having a bad day. Everyone that knows immediately close their tabs whenever they're coming in.

There are few feelings as getting out of the streets on a scorching summer's day in Brooklyn and walking into a cavernous, cool bar. It's too clean to be a dive, but low-key enough to be comforting. Simply my favorite place to grab a beer in BK.

By far the best bar we've been to in NY. Great service, music and atmosphere. Bear Claw (the bartender) got absolutely rocked after the NIN concert at Barclay and had a great attitude the entire time. She deserves a raise AND benefits. I said what I said. Love from MN service industry vets.
Popped into this great little bar last Saturday. Great interactions with bartenders in this town are rare but really memorable experience with Nic! Really personable and knowledgeable and quick on the trigger. Cant wait to come back to see her!

Great bar to unwind after a long day. The prices on cocktails and beers are great for the area and the amount of seats and booths is good for a spot like this. Bearclaw is an amazing bartender who knows her drinks and even remembers everyone's choice of drink. Overall great place to hang out by yourself or with friends. Highly recommend
