Okay... That pastrami lox sandwich though. I've been thinking about it all week. A bit pricy, but you get what you pay for in flavor

The bagels are delicious - probably the best taste and texture I've had in a very long time. The salmon is likewise incredible and tastes delicious. Second to none, really.
Unfortunately the prices are very high, and the bagels are very small. Grocery store freezer small. The taste is so good that I wouldn't mind paying the high price for better quality if they were a bit bigger and closer to other, less expensive offerings in the neighborhood. They don't need to be, and shouldn't be, overgrown breakfast cart size - just not so small.
More frustrating, though, are the disrespectful and often snarky comments from the owner here. Telling your customers "therapy helps," or "get used to it," or complaining about your $17k rent when they're telling you they don't feel the price of your product matches the value shows a real lack of respect for others.

Two tiny tables inside. Other than that a hit. The bagels and veggie cream cheese are delish!

The prices are a lot so I was expecting that this place makes spectacular sandwiches. I got the bacon egg and cheese because it's one of the cheapest sandwiches on the menu by far ($9). I was thoroughly disappointed. Bun was rubbery, American cheese, very little bacon, and I asked for some hot sauce on it and they absolutely drenched it in hot sauce and ketchup (it was literally dripping). I could've gone to a bodega and gotten a better sandwich for half the cost. If they can't get a BEC right, I have little hope for their other sandwiches and assume they are not worth the money.
Edit responding to owner: if your BEC is going to be the same as the bodega makes, and similar to worse quality, it shouldn't be $9. As a customer, the BEC was not great. Solidly mid. You can either get defensive, or take that feedback and figure out how to improve on an expensive simple breakfast sandwich or lower the price in order to lower expectations of other customers.

Granted i ordered it on Doordash so let’s generously assume that that came with a $10 upcharge.
It came out to $30 for the driest, most bland Bagel w/ lox i’ve ever had. It was marked as the “most liked” item, so I can’t imagine what’s going on with the rest of their food. I hate to sound mean but if it was just meh food, I wouldn’t bother to write a review. I wouldn’t pay $2 for that bagel, and these owners clearly don’t care about anything but their margins.

Average quality, smallest bagels in Brooklyn, overpriced, and staff with no manners.

Ordered 4 everything bagels with lox cc and red onions + capers. Got no onions and no capers on any of the bagels. Bagels were also old and stale. Disappointing considering what we had heard about the place

Got a bagel with lox here, one of the best I've ever had. Scallion cream cheese too. A little pricey but there's a cash discount. 2 tables/4 chairs inside so there is a little bit of room if you're on the go. Workers were friendly too!
