About Shiawase
Shiawase Reviews
Used to like this place but found the price increase to be unacceptable. The North Sea Threesome Don went from $19.95 to $28 - amount of ingredients were pretty much the same if not a little less. They didn’t have crab so substituted with salmon. Also ordered 3 party trays and their execution of the rolls was lacking. Rice was hard and rolls were loose.
The food and prices are great!!
it's a everyday thing, your usual to on the go.

Shiawase is a restaurant that offers a variety of delicious and filling meal options at reasonable prices. The bento boxes, including the potato croquette bento and the $8 bento, are a popular choice, often coming with combinations of california rolls, popcorn chicken, and rice. The restaurant also serves wings, calamari, and sushi, all noted for their great flavor and quality. The green curry katsu, previously served at Like Cafe, is another tasty option. The owners from Like Cafe and Phat Chow Down took over and revamped the menu, now featuring fried noodles, beef chow fun, and tri-curry pork cutlet over rice. The place is small but a walking distance from the park. Some dishes, like the stir-fried noodles and Tom yum soup, are very tasty, while others, like the squid, can be overcooked. Service is decent but can get hectic when busy. Takeaway orders are packed well, and the food is good for the price. The HK milk tea and Thai ice tea are enjoyable when available. Prices may sometimes differ from the menu, but overall, it's a good spot for lunch and dinner.
