I bought a lemon log cake from Mrs. Siegelman which came frozen.. when defrosted the cake tasted horrible and old. When I called to exchange she had a nasty attitude and didn't stand behind her product. I've gotten cake from them in the past (has always been delicious and fresh) but the quality of their product has gone down the drain.
I'd suggest if your thinking about Seigelmans for your next event, think again.. unless your willing to spend a premium on old frozen cake.

While the cakes are slightly above the mediocrity of other bakeries and as a result they are sought after, the attitude of the proprietors are gross and unprofessional. They excel in being rude and making you feel like your just another useless customer throwing your money their way, so get in line.
What they do not realize is that this will at some point catch up with them as there many are new entrants with better tasting and wider range of cakes.
