This place is so so for me. Too tough on where you can sit and seating is cramped so very little privacy. Waiters are ok but not amazing and one of the people there are rude (I wont say which one) food is expensive and comes in smaller portions but generally ok tasting. Restroom is nice and smells good.I don't plan on coming back but I am not agalnst someone else trying this place.
Overall a pretty good experience here on a busy Thursday night. Upscale vibe, very nicely designed, and most seats are within booths, making things more intimate. The food itself is kosher/dairy/Italian but elevated and modern (most reminiscent of Cipriani). There were some service and other issues, but the fundamental premise is good. Delicious food and great atmosphere! The fish and pasta are the best in Brooklyn. The other reviewers who are mad when they walk in without a reservation and are told they can't be seated don't seem to understand that this is a small restaurant with limited seating. Just because you see some empty tables doesn't mean they are available. If you didn't make a reservation, don't be surprised if you're seated at the bar, especially on a Thursday or Sunday...
