I initially passed this place by because they have a B rating, which is an auto-skip, but I learned it’s the highest rated Asian restaurant on a block with half a dozen competitors.If this is the best, I’ll be skipping the rest. This is bad Chinese food. The chicken is gummy and disgusting and the sauce is slimy. The place was entirely empty at peak lunch time and now I know why. No way this restaurant exists in 2 years if it keeps going like this.

Delicious delicious delicious. I have been coming here since I was very young. About 8 years old. Probably even younger. I am 24 now. The crunchy noodles are to die for- and the soups are delicious. Food and atmosphere is always great. Will never stop coming here.

Excellent Delicious Food. I've been going to Silver Star Restaurant as long as I been living in Bensonhurst.I Highly Recommend Anybody to go to Silver Star Restaurant on 18 Avenue, and 62-63 street.
20220628:: this is a 70+ year old Chinese american resturant. being chinese, i am in awe how different this and a Chinese resturant decor looks like. love the fried wonton-like skins and cha-siu lo-mein. i ordered my fav ,not on menu, had to convince them to replace the shrimp in lobster sauce with beef. try it. its like stepping back in time. i like very muchy.
