My wife went to the restaurant today to get some food and soup and the lady worker was rude to my wife and laughing in her face and calling her crazy and we spent money there and the women who works there don't care about the customer and only want the money and the lady who works there can't hear good and giving my wife the wrong order

Poorly seasoned, tough rubbery meat and curry incorrectly prepared. (curried goat). This did not resonate with me as being authentic Jamaican cooking or any other recognized West Indian food. I added 2 stars to an intended zero, only because the plain, tasteless white rice was at least cooked to the point of being edible, even though obviously served ftom a scorched pot. Shouldn't people at least taste- test food before serving it to others, especially if said food is for sale to the public? Service and atmosphere were not applicable in my case, since I ordered through an app. Presentation was however barely fair.

As much as my family members swear by this restaurant, I stay away from here for a reason.
I stopped here to buy food to drop off for my boyfriend at work.. I usually use my debit card, but remembered I had cash and wanted to get change anyway. I ordered his food and a drink.. all seemed perfectly fine⊠until it was time to pay.
I pulled out a $100 dollar bill & handed it to the employee.. she then proceeds to âwhisperâ in patois ( which I also speak because my family is Jamaican) to the other worker that she âdoesnât wanna take it because if itâs fake, she donât wanna hear nobodyâs mouth.â
She made me walk to the corner store to break the bill before I could pay for the order. I donât appreciate being profiled because I look young and I came in paying with a bigger bill. I work a 9-5 & earn my money just like yâall. Invest in a counterfeit marker or a bill checker if your employees are so nervous about it. Definitely wonât be spending my money here again.
