Turkey sandwich was very good, definitely worth getting the full sandwich and taking the other half to go if you canât finish it all (just bc the cost of half is expensive). Breakfast tacos were also good, but towards the third one it got a bit too soggy and hard to eat.
95% of the pastries were gone by Sunday afternoon, but that just shows theyâre pretty popular.
This bake shop is a gem. Fresh bread, pastries, and savory bakes line the counter as you walk in making it very hard to choose. But choose you must as the shotgun layout of the entry means you have little time to make a decision before itâs your turn. The great thing is everything tastes delicious so you canât go wrong, honestly. They also offer a variety of coffee and tea. Prices are so very reasonable considering the quality of the bakes. đ

Croissant: Was very difficult to tell if the croissant was good considering the one I was served was stale, despite it being around noon on a Saturday.
Will give it another try perhaps earlier in the morning as the lamination had some merit. Though Iâm not sure Iâd enjoy starting a morning here (see below).
The staff was not at all pleasant. It was Saturday and busy, regardless: annoyance from front facing customer service roles turns everything sour. At one point, as I was ordering, the staff rolled their eyes at the preceding customer because she had dared to move to the pick up side of the counter to allow for other customers to order. The 4 steps to that side must have been the final straw during a tiresome day. Although, I had also witnessed them be utterly not nice to the same woman as she politely asked about the different types of loaves (the middle didnât have a sign or label).

Itâs a great bakery but theyâve raised the prices of the bread in 25%! Not that affordable anymore⌠I will look for a different bakery before getting in there and get ârobedâ.
Excellent cafe with great sandwiches and coffee. Is a good spot to bring your laptop and focus for a while. Recommend! Sandwiches are pricey but BIG!

Had the grilled cheese and the pumpkin muffin, both were good! The pumpkin muffin was great because it wasnt too sweet! Appreciate that they dont over-sweeten or over-salt things like a lot of bakeries do!
This is an amazing bakery in Brooklyn with a great selection of pastries, wish I could have gone back to try more items. Everything we got was excellent and there's a lot of seating inside and out in the courtyard. Highly recommend trying some of their baked goods and the avocado toast.

A great breakfast destination to work or unwind, offering coffee, delicious baked goods, and a thoughtful selection of toasts and sandwiches. The atmosphere is chill and casual, with outdoor seating to enjoy. On your way out, grab a loaf of artisan bread to bring the vibe home.

I feel incredibly lucky to live near simple loaf. Their pastries rival any in New York. I particularly like the apple danish and the pasties de nata, but their croissants are also superb. The baguettes are delicious and cheap. Only downside is that their coffee is not the best.
Love it. Favorite place to get a breakfast sandwich with some friends. Awesome pastry selection as well

Great baked goods, mid lattes, short lines.
Simple Loaf is everything a cozy neighborhood bakery should be. Lovely staff, chill patio and indoor space for working during the day. Good, fuss free food without the massive lines plaguing every overhyped spot in Brooklyn.
The breads and pastries are definitely the stars of the show. Skip the beverages and youâll be fine.
This place is worth coming to for loaves of bread, but I wouldnât stick around for a meal. Itâs been greater than 45 minutes waiting for a croissant sandwhich. During this period we have asked the staff multiple times for updates and they provide vague answers and have clearly not prioritized getting us an item they must have forgot about. Disappointing customer service you wouldnât expect in NY.
During the nearly 60 minute purgatory sitting in here waiting for the sandwich, the vibe is poor. Feels like a Panera bread.
