Inviting and friendly staff, tasty bagels and super chicken salad! Challah bread was delicious! Mix of traditional with modern sensibility. Highly recommend!
You get to customize everything from bagel type, cream cheese flavor, toppings, and even the type of lox. I went with a classic combo: an everything bagel loaded with scallion cream cheese, tomato, onion, capers, and Nova Scotia lox. The lox itself was noticeably saltier than what I’ve had at other bagel shops and it’s a bit too overpowering for me. Had to wash down the saltiness with plenty of water. The bagel is also pretty unique. They make them with a much thicker center hole, which gives it a different texture and look compared to the usual nyc bagels. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and the shop carries a lot of gourmet food items and baked goodies so it’s fun to browse while you wait.

Update 2 years later:
Still amazing!!! The pastrami and egg breakfast sandwich with caramelized onions on an everything bagel is hands down the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. I dream about it.
One of the worst customer service - shame cos food is great. Wonder where the ego comes from ….

I think I just had the best lox cream cheese bagel I ever had. Seriously delicious and great service. I don’t have photos to share because I ate it too fast

The bagels are absolutely awful. It’s a small limp excuse for a bagel. One would think a bagel shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn would be able to make a good bagel. I’m so disappointed and I don’t recommend anyone visiting this establishment. There are far superior spots close by.

Order was tasty but they forgot to toast the bagels for my online order. Disappointing because you pay a decent amount for portion ratio. Overall might try it again. 🤔

Watch out for over-tipping! I only picked up a $17.96 lox bagel, but I was charged $22.45. When I saw the card alert and went back to ask, they explained it was because I didn’t select a tip option after tap-to-pay, so the system added one automatically. They said sorry, but honestly, I would’ve preferred to simply get my $4.49 back. Instead, I wasn’t even given that choice.
I came from far away and was really looking forward to trying this place because of all the good reviews. I never expected to walk out feeling this disappointed and upset before even taking a bite of the bagel.
To be fair, the salmon tasted amazing, though.

High quality, unfussy bagel place with an old school vibe. Proper NYC bagels and some great ready made to-go options. They also serve iced coffee (not cold brew) which is hard to find these days!

I really want to love this place as it’s a local small business but after giving it a chance multiple times it fails to deliver on the positive reviews given. It’s honestly overpriced and really not very good. Maybe the bagels are made daily, but the $1.50 everything bagels we bought were no better than day old, grocery store ones. On other occasions we’ve grimaced over paying $20 for a bagel with lox and cream cheese only to be disappointed by its diminutive size and taste. Only redeeming quality is they apparently make the bagels for the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches from Three Legged Cat in the neighborhood which are 👨🍳👨🍳👨🍳. Maybe they save their best bagels for wholesale buyers.
