This place was incredible! Came on a Saturday evening and even though the place was so busy Chance and Cesar were so incredibly welcoming and attentive. The fries (regular and sweet potato) were bomb and overall the vibe was immaculate! Can’t recommend coming here enough, especially if Chance and Cesar are working!
Beautiful space that serves unseasoned sandwiches. Tasteless and hard to eat. I think all the salt in the kitchen must have been used on my partners kale and they had none left for the batter on the fish, the slaw, or the tasteless tartar sauce. Our worst meal by far on this trip.
Vegan option was okay...

Getting out of an appointment 90 minutes earlier than expecting while in the relatively unfamiliar to me Brooklyn neighborhood of Clinton Hill, I did a little research to find a nice, hopefully unique(-looking?) place to have lunch.
Appearing third on my Google search list of “restaurants near me” was a place within a five-minute walk called Sisters whose search images made the place look promising for both food and vibe.
Sisters proved even more impressive upon arrival and patronage, as the space feels deceptively more airy and open than it’s square area would otherwise suggest, and a plain cheddar cheeseburger proved more than “simple,” with its use farm fresh, hormone- and antibiotic-free beef, a light yet sturdy toasted brioche bun, and an only lightly pickled cucumber, allowing the sweet earthiness of cucumber add a rustic layer to each bite, while toning back the acidity that can (and does elsewhere) overpower the flavors of a nicely grilled medium burger whose taste is richly served by the rendered fat that too much vinegar can completely negate if not overwhelm.
I don’t get to Clinton Hill—or much of Brooklyn—often, but am sure if I find myself in the neighborhood again, I would beeline back to Sisters to further enjoy their menu, great service, decor, and overall vibe.

This place is so lovely, came for my birthday on a quiet sunday evening, so we were seated pretty quickly and the bar was adroned with fall like decorations which felt really cozy and relaxed. Menu consists of very ‘light’ western focused dishes which came out quickly and tasted very fresh and delicious. Service was very kind and attentive.
Drinks are also particularly great here and would recommend this place to anyone also interested in cocktails.

Sisters has been a favorite local spot of my spouse and I for brunch, a casual drink with friends, or a nice date night for years now. As we were planning the rehearsal dinner for our wedding, their airy, aesthetically pleasing space was the natural selection to wow our guests with both food and ambiance.
The menu we prepared in advance with the help of general manager Lindsey consisted of elevated appetizers like mushroom arancini and large portions of their everyday crowd-pleasers like the kale Caesar salad and their heavenly macaroni and cheese.
The cocktail aficionados in attendance were impressed by the classics, like the Sister’s Margarita, as well as some of the bolder, bespoke cocktails (like the Wild is the Wind, sort of a blackberry and elderberry old fashioned).
It was so special to share one of the coziest, classiest places we have the privilege to frequent in our everyday Brooklyn lives with visiting friends and family!
