This place is a mainstay in my take-out rotation and my favorite for lighter meals - love their salads and souvlaki, also the lemon potatoes! Daily specials are very good too for dinner. This location is smaller than their 3rd Ave one and more pick up/take out focused but it’s just as good. Staff is always friendly.

Great food and great service! Love the signature sandwich and the lemon potato pita (which is vegetarian).

Greek-American food, yes. Greek food, not really. So, if you're coming here with high expectations, lower them a little. If you're coming here after the Bay Ridge location, lower your expectations, a lot. As for customer service, it's not so good, really. Customer beware: If you're coming with the elderly or children, no bathroom. Not even for emergencies! Unfortunately, that was the case for one of us attending lunch here...

The gyro meat on the Gyro Platter is so good I could feel my soul transcend time and space and leave my body with each bite.

Was very disappointed. I ordered spinach pie and tazicki (spelling?) With pita bread.
It was a take out order. First off, I waited a very long time for them to put my order together. OK, I get that its a Saturday. But the spinach pie was totally burnt on the bottom and some pieces of the pita bread were burnt too! I can't believe they see that and give it to the customer.

Restaurantji Recommends
it's a first time in my life that i went in a souvlaki store that happens to have loukaniko souvlaki having ketchup and mustard but the can't actually put the ketchup in the pita ... 🤣🤣🤣
They said they're not allowed from their boss ...
what a joke ...
if you wanna have a souvlaki better to go to Astoria, where is plenty of restaurants tha they don’t have a problem to put ketchup or whatever the customer desires...
