This is a very decent shop and I really enjoy the foods. If yyou're plan to dine there, please reserve or go early, because it gets very crowded.

Had dinner 6/1/25 and food was a 4.5 since I wanted something I couldn’t get. Not their fault. What I did offer was food but the appetizer wings weren’t very meaty. The Thai railroad fried rice with shrimp was delicious! They have great drink specials for the summer. I loved the searing out back and it was a little oasis to eat dinner. Really enjoyed it and I will be back!

Decided to get some dinner after watching the sunset on the river. We sat out in the back garden, which was delightful. The staff was so friendly and lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. It had been a very busy holiday weekend, and they were out of many menu items, but everything we got was so fresh and well-seasoned. Would definitely come back to try some other items on the menu.

First off, I dislike writing bad reviews but my experience at Goog was terrible, I really hope management reads this. Part of it was probably due to the fact that it became busy a little after we arrived but that shouldn’t be an excuse - you should plan for situations like this. Plain and simple, you should bring out all main dishes together, especially in a group. There were 4 of us and the first two main dishes came out initially followed by the third dish 10 minutes later. My dish never arrived after 45 minutes and I was starving. Thankfully I got to eat a bit of everyone else’s food but even their food got cold since they were waiting for mine. When I asked just to cancel my dish after the 45 minutes, they said it was ready to come but they’d still have to charge me (which is fine) and they could box it for me.. Everyone else finished their food by this point and I just wanted to get out. Of course I don’t want to eat by myself or bring it home. I couldn’t even ask for the check because no one was around. I went up to the main hostess (I believe) and I can tell she was overwhelmed so I do apologize for the craziness of having an influx of people. My message to you management is to create some sort of buffer before seating people. If you have only so many cooks or staff, you know people are going to be waiting for a while for their food. It’s unreasonable to put a lack of organization onto your customers. The food was decent (from what I tried from others plates) since I don’t want to just state the negative. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone that’s coming during some sort of typical meal time, maybe you’ll have better luck if there’s one or two other parties.

Severe food poisoning, would not recommend.
I got the lunch special. Probably the last time I’ll have Thai food, even thinking about it is making me feel ill again.

Absolutely amazing Thai food! I tried the Thai sashimi(sooo good!), Nam Pla fried chicken (incredibly juicy!), beef stew (the broth was so tasty), green curry, and pad Thai — and every single dish was outstanding. This is hands down the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had. I will definitely visit again! The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch Thai dining experience!

As an afficionado of Thai cuisine, I must say I am impressed by the very authentic tastes of the servings. The test was the khao soi which passed musters. Other dishes were as appetising. Recommended.

Quaint small place. Great food. We were in town prior to a cruise and the Lodge at Red Hook recommended it. I’m so glad they did.

Incredible Thai food! The curry was out of this world. The garden was shaded, so even though it was very sunny and warm, the space was the perfect temperature. Can’t recommend enough.

Somtumder is desperately missed. The flavors aren’t there anymore. It’s washed down Americanized Thai food made for red hook gentrifiers. Before its rebrand of the food and restaurant, this place had flavors that were refreshing, spicy, and truly different to a regular Thai place in nyc. The map on the menu is great but the flavors have sadly all gone away, even though it’s the same owner and chef. Please don’t make this for the gentrifiers and keep your old flavors.
