I genuinely tried to support this black owned business but the service is disgusting , the guy with the dreads who were preparing the food was very rude, he had a kind of prisoners mentality, like he was sharing food in prison to fellow inmates, he acted very shitty towards me, so I requested a refund and left in disgust that’s a place of business stop treating it like half way house

Fries were good with the seasoning on it. Ate the parts that were done , the fish was not fully cooked 1 cat fish cut into three pieces. The initially presentation looked good, but I hope I don’t get sick from the raw fish.
Place is bonkers they never answer the phone on sundays and fries be soft as hell, $10 fish n chips is mid tasting at best doesn’t have much flavor honestly. i try to support black business but y’all gotta do better. Prices are decent to me for a seafood spot but the service is horrible it’s been months like this get it together. Oh yeah and you only get like one sauce for a bunch of food how does that make sense appeal to your customers more and you’ll get good business but let me guess you don’t care cause you’ll get business anyways ‼️
Food was good, however I went there 3 times yesterday door wad Locked. No be right back sign or nothing, I called today and person answered I asked are you open, I told them I went 3 times the previous and the door was locked, no explanation or apology or anything! So when I went today I was greeted with a person who seemed snippy! Not customer friendly at all! Like they are doing you a favor!!!
Customer Service needs improvement. You will not make profit, if you have rude staff.
This definitely will be my last time spending my money here. You try and support some of these black owned businesses and then they disappoint you. The first time I went the food was very good . No problem. The 2nd time I went it wasn’t as good as the first time . It was ok. My daughter threw her plate away . What ticked me off was I placed my order . Then I a friend of the cook came in after me. The cook said out loud while I’m standing there “ I’m going to get you out here “ meaning he got his order before me and came in after me . So I had to wait longer to get my food. That pissed me off . So ok I didn’t say anything. The 3rd time I went in there I ordered and the cook had to run out to get change. She left the young girl that takes the orders to hold it down while she ran out . I heard her say I got 2 pieces of fish cooked all ready . I ordered a large fish and shrimp dinner. The shrimp were smaller than usual and she overcooked them. They tasted like rubber . She put the fish that was cooked already on my plate instead of making me fresh fish. The fish was warm and hard. I was going to call but for what ? To complain and possibly get cursed out. Nah they just won’t get my business anymore. This is why I cannot deal with neighborhood businesses sometimes. You try to support and then you get treated a certain way when they don’t know you or are familiarized with you . It was 3 different cooks each time I went there . Mind you I take an uber there and back home. I always buy me and my daughter a plate at $20 each and spend $30 for Uber . Never again . That’s it . Y’all gotta do better. I’m just saying.
The cook & young I'm lady were very rude. The attitude was not professional. Also for 4 pieces of fish they only give 1 tartar sauce and that goes for the same thing for a 2 piece fish, just 1 tartar sauce. That doesn't make sense. Make it make sense!!!!

My wife and I stopped by close to closing and we were rushed to order and decided on the catfish and chips combo as well as the shrimp, catfish and chips combo. It says on the door and website that they close at 9:45 we walked in at 9:30. The order was severely lackluster, the fish wasn’t seasoned, tasted spoiled and the fries weren’t cooked. This was a terrible experience and we couldn’t even enjoy the food.

I came in today around 1pm and ordered the 2 catfish, 6 pc shrimp combo. The man with the locs took my order, and made my food. He seemed nice at first, however once I got home I immediately opened my food and took a bite of the fish and noticed it was pink and gray and had worms in it. I called the restaurant to inform them how disgusted I was of this discovery. The lady on the phone told me she would be disgusted to, and to bring back the meal and not worry about my cab fare. Upon arriving back to the restaurant, I told the man who took my order and made the meal that this was not okay. He didn’t even acknowledge me nor did he apologize, he just called “BO” to handle me. She didn’t apologize neither she immediately asked where’s the worm? I showed her the worm she said this is not a worm it’s just undercooked. I responded it, it being undercooked doesn’t make the situation better. Then she asked how much was my cab fare. I told her it was $32.94 there and back. I spent nearly $65 going home and coming back. She gave me the $17 back for the meal and $15 towards the cab. Now I was going to just brush the issue off but their nonchalant behavior deserves a review.
I do not recommend eating here and I pray I don’t get sick from this.
Update: you’re truly a disgusting business owner to call me a liar when you know the TRUTH! now I have no problem sharing my pictures, and recordings of our phone conversation as well as our encounter when I returned the raw spoiled food!
