Amazing, generous portions (look at the size of the chicken), perfectly fried chicken, same for the fries, great and super friendly team, I really enjoyed my first meal in Brooklyn thanks to them ? Their house sauce (which is actually a sort of spicy cocktail sauce) works particularly well with fries and chicken.
You have brought balm to our hearts! With better dining comfort I would have given 5 stars for sure ? but for eating on the go it's more than enough ?

Soulful foods was a great place to eat for dinner. The atmosphere was great especially the outdoor seating, but the food was even better! We had three dinner plates between us and we couldn’t stop commenting on the quality of the food. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good sit down place with amazing soul food.

My bestie and I first experience at Soulful Foods was phenomenal the food and service was awesome not to mention the food was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The owners hospitality is superb, the whole Soulful Foods team were great. The restaurant and bathroom are so clean, the backyard is so nicely set up the customers can enjoy the same entertainment inside as well as outside we'll definitely be back again and again. Well i was talking to my honey and said i felt for Southetn food. We were in a unknown part of town. So i put in soul food and they came up. We were 30 min away. And they closed in an hour. We plqced our order by phone. We arrived in 30 min, and im so glad that we did. The food was amazing. I couldbt wait togwt home. We orderd Basa fish w/ yams and greens. Honey orderd fried chicken w rice & peas and plaintains. They fish wqs gone before i reached long island. The portions were hefty and the prices were right. I cannot wait to return! Staff was great, friendly and welcoming!! So glad thw universe was listening and guided me to soulful Foods! DELISH!!! Oh and the cornbread make you wanna slap yo GRANDMA!!

the lady in the front i guess has a bad nasty spirit & attitude. just rude and completely disrespectful from word choice to tone. idk if she has bad mood swings, but she cannot control her temper for a customer simply asking her why her food was taking 35 minutes when she started off saying it would be 20. I was nothing but polite to this woman and asking about the meals since it was my first time coming. and no ma’am i don’t eat chinese store chicken but i have never been to a non sit down restaurant that takes 30 minutes to cook little pieces of dry chicken.
I’ve been ordering from Soulful Foods via Uber Eats going on two years now and let me say they don’t miss. Yes it takes time to get my food but that tells me that they are cooking it fresh. Their food is absolutely delicious. Sometimes it’s so good I have to have it on back to back days. My favorites are the grilled sweet chili salmon, jerk ribs, potato salad, baked Mac n cheese, chicken all flavors, collard greens and potato salad. I plan to go one day to say thanks.

First time and last time coming to Soulful Foods…! To start off, the place is cramped, couldn’t for maybe 4 people inside. And the customer service was terrible and the lady at the counter was kinda pacing me with my order. Tried the chicken wings with string beans, chicken was dry, the string beans were bland (no flavor whatsoever). Nonetheless, it’s god awful food.

Ordered Sunday and my order was missing gravy and salmon undercooked... I ordered yesterday day before Christmas eve and I paid 27.65 for a small stew chicken which was undercooked and my order did not come with the complimentary Corn Bread I was looking forward to for the two sides dinner delivered to Hart st...Food was good otherwise. What a Christmas ?
