The cabbage was cold & I informed the staff but nothing was done to rectify it. She stated it was in the steamer but what was served was colder than room temperature. The chicken was freshly prepared. Rice & peas were salty. Plantains were sliced thick. It's a one & done for me.

First time and last time coming to Soulful Foods…! To start off, the place is cramped, couldn’t for maybe 4 people inside. And the customer service was terrible and the lady at the counter was kinda pacing me with my order. Tried the chicken wings with string beans, chicken was dry, the string beans were bland (no flavor whatsoever). Nonetheless, it’s god awful food.

I ordered from them twice in the past two weeks for pickup and every time I order they have to cancel my order because they aren’t open. Change the time you are open on google so ppl don’t order when you aren’

Ordered Sunday and my order was missing gravy and salmon undercooked... I ordered yesterday day before Christmas eve and I paid 27.65 for a small stew chicken which was undercooked and my order did not come with the complimentary Corn Bread I was looking forward to for the two sides dinner delivered to Hart st...Food was good otherwise. What a Christmas ?

I’ve been ordering from Soulful Foods via Uber Eats going on two years now and let me say they don’t miss. Yes it takes time to get my food but that tells me that they are cooking it fresh. Their food is absolutely delicious. Sometimes it’s so good I have to have it on back to back days. My favorites are the grilled sweet chili salmon, jerk ribs, potato salad, baked Mac n cheese, chicken all flavors, collard greens and potato salad. I plan to go one day to say thanks.

I went here for hookah and drinks. When I arrived, I was informed that there was no hookah right now. I sat at the bar, waiting forever for a drink. There was a guy behind the bar talking, playing music, and ignoring the customer. The hostess walked up to me asking if I wanted anything. I said yes, a drink. She walked off to tend to some other customers. I walked out no hookah, no drinks.

The customer is by far the worst … I ordered delivery through Uber eats but mistakenly chose this restaurant… I called them first to see if they could cancel my order on their end so I wouldn’t be charged not even five minutes after placing the order just so we are clear the women told me I needed to take it up with Uber … Uber called the restaurant and the same woman refused to cancel my order so I called back and she hung up the phone on me …. This is not the experience as a future customer or as customer or human that I want from a restaurant…. They say support your own people support small black owned but this was distasteful behavior and not anything or anywhere I would want to pay hard earned money to eat from !!!! They need to correct this asap also I know that a restaurant is capable of canceling order because I’ve had restaurants cancel orders $55 for two basic dinners

Went there with my partner and the whiting fish was super oily. Oxtail was nasty and the lady had bad customer service and had an artiste the entire time paid $39 for my partners oxtail she didn’t even eat cause it was nasty.
