Honestly this place is amazing!! If you’re around Bay ridge at least try this place once! The employees are really kind and super attentive to the customers. The atmosphere is also really good. I will say the pricing may be a little on the higher side but it’s definitely worth the food they serve. The food is exquisite, taste and presentation wise, also the drinks are amazing. 100% recommend :)

I saw the Gordon Ramsay episode, I know the food is good but they wouldn't have rehired that Ray before.

My family and I really enjoyed our lunch here! I found this place after watching their episode on Kitchen Nightmares and wanted to support them when we visited NYC. We all shared a pitcher of the Mango Sangria (very good) and ate delicious food. I had the Chef’s Burger with sweet potato fries - it was fantastic! The highlight of meal was definitely talking with the host/server Nick. He was very friendly, kind, and helpful. It was cool hearing stories from behind the scenes of the show and how’s things have been afterward. If you are visiting Brooklyn or live there, I recommend eating at the South Brooklyn Foundry.

Stopped by for a quick bite with my sister and we are so glad we did! Have been meaning to try it for a while just never found the right time. The service was really good our server was really friendly. We went in the afternoon so it wasn't crowded, ambience was very nice and the food was soooo goood. We ordered the sage scrambled eggs sandwich and fries to split it took a while for it to come but it was so worth the wait! It's a cute small spot , we both agreed we would come back and try other things again!

Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was friendly. Everyone loved their food. We asked for the salmon to be grilled instead of fried, and the chef was able to accommodate. It was the best salmon she ever had!

Went on a Saturday night, place is small, not very handicap accessible but the man, Wilson, was great with the karaoke that night, would go back!

This place serves mediocre food. A burger in this place is way over charged. Very small place. It’s not an ideal place for family either. It’s very nice for a friendly get together.

South Brooklyn Foundry is a great local spot in Bay Ridge. The team is very friendly (Kelly and Nick are especially awesome!), the food is great, the prices are reasonable and there is always fun events throughout the year. On top of this, the team really makes an effort to give back to the community. Truly a gem, check them out!

Had brunch and it was very good. Chef burger with truffle fries were excellent. Just a little pricey for brunch and cash only for brunch.

A few hours ago, I visited this place and received a warm welcome from Nicholas (Nick) and the rest of the staff. He introduced me to some of their standout dishes that had undergone impressive transformations since their appearance on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Among them were the Chef's Burger, the Eggs Benedict Bowl, and another dish that slips my memory.Ultimately, I opted for the Crab Cake Scrambled Florentine Toast, served with spinach and hollandaise sauce on sourdough. The dish was not only delicious but also fresh and appetizing. What's more, it was reasonably priced, and they even offered complimentary water with a refreshing touch of lemon. With such a welcoming atmosphere and delightful cuisine, I'm looking forward to returning for another visit soon. Nicholas (Nick) and the team made my experience memorable, and I can't wait to explore more of their revamped dishes and enjoy the inviting ambiance once again.

I hosted a baby shower there this weekend and Kelly ( the owner ) made every step of the process a breeze ! She was so easy to get in contact with and answered all my questions no matter how silly they were . The staffing was amazing and helped set up all the decorations and made sure everything was absolutely perfect . The food was amazing and cooked to perfection ! 10/10 would highly recommended !

Loving the place since the changes, made famous by Kitchen Nightmares. So many issues pre makeover I wouldn't even know where to begin. Now? So much better. I don't know Ramsey's overall results when he helps places out, but it seems like this one's gonna stick. From the episodes I've seen it seems like as long as the owner is completely receptive, and absorbs all of the changes without coming behind him and reverting to how they did things in the past, those restaurants seem to be successful long term. I wish them luck going forward, the only thing I wish had not happened was the old "chef" returning, he really should have been gone for good. As someone with significant back and front of the house experience, I can tell you he would not be someone I would consider hiring, much less going into business with.
