I have the experience to have dine in spice and grill . It was the best experience ever, the staff are so friendly. There is a variety of food among them I have tried chicken thali which is the prefect combination of taste.I also loved spice creamy salmon, vegetables Manchurian and Mutton Tash which is super great and I fond it fresh and strongly suggest other to go there and enjoy the food.

Always excellent food, usually good service and a clean restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is absolutely not accessible. Has a large step at the front and a second door that would prevent a ramp from being placed.

I was fooled by the good reviews this restaurant has. I ordered a mango lazy, and a butter chicken with rice and some samosa, and it was the worst food I've ever had from India. The mango lazy was spoiled. The butter chicken was just sauce, no chicken—just three little pieces, and the worst taste. Besides, I paid about $80 for the food delivery. I feel ripped off and disappointed with this restaurant. Honestly, 0 is a very high number for them. I am not sure if those reviews where given to them by clients or thier friends. but mine experience was an uber eat order .I received a expired mago lazy. All the food was thrown away, no one could eat it. I'm writing this comment so it doesn't happen to someone else. That "A" on the door makes me wonder if it was bought. How are they going to sell spoiled food

I recently visited Spicy & Grill, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations from the menu.

As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. The flavors were vibrant, authentic, and perfectly balanced. I highly recommend the chicken tandoori — it was a standout, with just the right amount of spice and richness. The vegetable samosa was also exceptional, with fresh ingredients and traditional preparation.

The portions were generous, and the service was prompt, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Spicy & Grill offers a top-tier experience that’s worth every penny. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Really great food and great people. Missing 1 star because the prices are a little high. $7 for naan is bad.

I'm from Singapore and their biryani reminds me of home! It's the best we've tasted in a long time in the city for a very reasonable price (this isn't one of those try-hard millennial marketing type restaurants). This is the no-frills neighborhood Indian restaurant that really should be better celebrated. You come here for good food and you always leave happy. We would recommend the biryani of course (lamb and chicken) but their curries are just as good when eaten with naan.

Kid-friendliness: Many non-spicy options for the little ones. And mango lassi is always a hit with our toddler. Our toddler also craves their basmati every other week.

Ordered delivery. The chicken tikka masala was great. Did not specify spice level and it came fairly mild. Came with rice as well.

Shout out to Bikash Patel, owner of While in Kathmandu/his family owns the best Nepalese Indian restaurant in Ridgewood—he tipped me off to Spice & Grill years ago. Now I live in Bed Stuy so Spice & Grill is option. Tonight I ordered a delivery of veg biryani, chicken korma, and aloo paratha. Food arrived PIPING HOT on a snowy night. I proceeded to have a spiritual experience with this food, so medicinal and delicious. Spice & Grill never disappoints, but tonight was cosmic, so much that I was compelled to leave a positive review. Thank you, Spice & Grill!

This was place was a random pick off of restaurants in the area and I’m glad I picked this one.
The service was great and fast. In the beginning they give you an appetizer with some chutney.
The food was good too. We got the chicken thali, which gave you an array of food assortment on a tray, beautifully played. We also got a classic chicken tikka masala which was flavorful. And garlic naan to go with the meal which was a good amount of crisp and chewy.
Highly recommend the masala fries if you’re there to have a snack.
The mango lassi was more aromatic/floral than what I would normally get from other spots with similar cuisine.

Regardless, the waiter was very nice and I would be coming back here.
