The food was average in taste. The wonton soup had a minimal amount of bok choy. The wontons had little meat and fell apart when attempting to eat. The shrimp and lobster sauce had a very watery sauce with no meat or vegetables. The shrimp were good and fresh. The mapo tofu was spicy. The dish had tofu pieces with a minimal amount of vegetables. The order was approximately $50 with the credit card surcharge.
Love this place. Delicious food and a nice ambiance for dining in. They are super flexible with BYOB. We love both coming in and getting take out from them. We also order a lot and take stuff home. My family faves are all the dry pots, my son loves the ribs, we all love the string beans and eggplant.

Vegetarian options: Good tofu options (general Tso’s fried tofu, mapo tofu, sesame tofu etc.) and lots of veggie dishes (string beans, eggplant, pea shots, cucumber dish,...
Best Dan Dan Noodles I’ve had in NYC, so far. Perfect amount of spice with a rich broth. The pork belly in red sauce was excellent, as well. The chef uses fresh herbs and spices (not dry, cheap ingredients) to prepare his dishes and it really shows in his dishes. Will definitely be returning with more people. Highly recommended.
