I went there a few days ago and got the sweet potato fries shrimp, corn and honey hot sauce. I damn near ate the container bc everything was so good lol The lemonade was homemade and was really good, I wish I got two. Definitely will be back I just wish they stayed open later 11/10

This place has definitely fallen off. Kid at the register wasn't aware what was on the menu, missed items on sandwich. The plantains from the Kingston Ave was rotten (tasted sour). For a place that serves food, the staff looks like they haven't done laundry in months and extremely unkept. There was just so much wrong with a spot I once loved.
Been seeing it online(Instagram)didn't realize it was in my neighborhood. Tried it today. Food was decent. I had the fries with grilled chicken and jerk bbq. I'm not a fan of skinny aka shoestring fries but they were good. The grilled chicken was decent BUT I wish the chicken were bigger chunks like the video that's on their page. My grilled chicken was pretty much shredded.

Trash ... Food is basically made to order which is a plus however you're waiting for quite some time to receive food that you're ultimately gonna feel you wasted money on. We ordered the 4 tenders and fries. Tenders was okay but you've definitely had better. The fries come with the skin on, very oily, very soft and taste like they were seasoned with old bay or talc powder.

Everything is made completely fresh when you order which I really appreciate but also means you'll be waiting a minute for you're food. Got 2 of the "favorites" fries but only one was correct I guess I should have opened each box to check before I left. The jerk one was really good though! And the jalapeño ranch is good too. Shop is small, definitely to go only.

I was in NY from out of town and heard this place was good so I went to the location in Brooklyn. I ordered the Kingston Ave Boardwalk empire and both of those were not good. The chicken and catfish was very unseasoned. They literally just took it straight out the fridge , threw some flour on it and put it in the deep fryer it had no taste what so ever even with the j*** source and other sources on top of it. I winded up just picking around and eating the fries and threw everything else away. This place is very over rated as they need to work on their food presentation and taste. The staff was amazing but y’all need to season the meats you are putting in the fries. Don’t think I would try again!

I should have taken the reviews serious. I was greeted and got a menu when I walked in. The place reminds me of a small shack honestly. Anyway, I order my food and go sit on these super uncomfortable chairs that they have at the tables. My food was 11 and change, I had got the Kingston ave - small. I do believe the prices are fair for the food that is given. The food itself was not that good, it was all over the place and had I just walked out instead of dining in a piece of my order would have been missing. I had to go back to the counter and let them know that a part of my order was missing. It’s only one guy at the register that’s taking orders and cooking at the same time which is too much. I’m glad I go to try and know now that it’s not worth the hype and I will not definitely not be back.
