My friends and I love this place! We've come a couple of times now, and we always have a great time! The fee to play games for 3 hours is only $8 and $15 to play all day, so it's pretty affordable! The food and drinks also tend to be good, as well. I got an oatmilk matcha strawberry latte, and I was able to taste both flavors well.

Lovely place to play boardgames

Like it that you can play games while you eat, though I didn't eat was still fun

The atmosphere is good and the quality is ok. but the employees kinda kicked us out politely, saying that entered cafes are reserved. That does not sound good.

The food here was really bland. We ordered rice balls, fries, popcorn chicken, and a chicken sandwich and all of them lacked seasoning. There was no salt on anything. The chicken sandwich was somewhat decent except that the chicken has ABSOLUTELY NO SALT. The bathroom was also broken. 2 stars for the atmosphere. Great place to study, bad place for food.

Nice cozy little café. I had an iced mocha and was very pleased.

The coffee is good but super strong but only sugary pastries to eat. The general atmosphere seemed somber. Nothing happy here, but if you’re into a quiet place to play board games this is the spot.

Amazing service and chill environment

popcorn chicken was mostly fried breading with barely any chicken. the other photos the other reviewers had are very accurate. portion size is VERY small too.
hot drinks are put in a disposable cup rather than in a mug with latte art as shown in photos. disappointing. flavor was bland as well.
decent game options, however some cards/games are pretty dirty. that part cant be helped sometimes considering atlantic is a busy place.

Went for an event tried the waffle and a coffee drink from a special menu they were offering I'm not sure if it's a regular menu item, but was very good. Also went back and had a regular cappuccino it was also really good. The place was very clean and super cute

Nice cozy little spot with a lot of character and good service. They are absolutely loaded with board games of all kinds so it’s a nice little spot for locals to come together, chill, and play some games. I had good coffee and strangely good popcorn chicken. As you can see from the photo, the presentation of the chicken wasn’t much but don’t let the picture fool you it was actually pretty damn flavorful and affordable. I would order it again… Side note, the bathroom was also modern and clean which is always a much welcome benefit in a NYC establishment.

Bad coffee

Bad service (took 30min to bring out cold brew and a few sandwiches that were prepared from frozen chicken)

Chicken was rubbery

We were told we had to leave within 30min of getting our order (we waited for 30min to just get coffee and some basic food..)

Board games were $8 a person to play so we didn’t find it worth especially given the time constraint.

Cool spot with a solid board game selection and decent bubble tea. The atmosphere is nice for hanging out, though it can get a bit crowded. Worth checking out if you’re into games and don’t mind the board game fee

Squarral have the tastiest coffee I’ve tasted in NYC in a long time! I loved the chill vibes, soft music and courteous staff. Thank you!
