This used to be Maxine's bakery and that location has been and still is a staple in the Little Haiti NYC community. The patties are delicious, the bread- always fresh, and service always reliable. The lady in the front of the store, with the twin sister, gives this establishment it's old-school traditional vibe. She's never mean and always helpful. My only wish is that they would have more sweets like lanmidon, lang boeuf, cake, dous makos, and just an overall wider array of treats. My only critique is that the lemonade is way too sweet, but other than that, they make great, authentic, Haitian patties, akasan, and bread.

I went to pick up some items in there. The patties were very tasty, but the server was very mean looking she needs to better.
The products are definitely great and I don't mind paying the overpriced rate but the attitude of the staff is STRAIGHT STINK ???♂️??
