I’m saddened to hear this store has officially closed. Baristas like Redry, Ashley, and many others always made my visits extra special, and I hope they and the manager are supported in finding roles at nearby stores if that’s what they want. This location had so much potential and could have aligned beautifully with CEO Brian Niccol’s mission. A refresh with comfortable furniture and a more inviting setup might have attracted even more customers. What I’ll remember most is the genuine warmth and hospitality of the team—they will truly be missed.

No bathroom for customers.

They literally have a sign on the door that says restrooms, seating and patio area is for customers. I had a meeting later in the area and stopped in here for coffee reassured there would be a restroom if I needed one (I travel long distance for work and there are restrooms few and far between). They told me after purchasing my coffee that they do not allow customers to use their restroom. Really irritating that I’m a paying customer and can’t even use your restroom. McDonald’s next door has a restroom for paying customers. Be more kind to your customers, and at the very least remove the sign saying otherwise.

Clean, convenient and friendly staff. My matcha wasnt so matcha-y it was more of an oatmilk. I wouldnt get that again at that location however my child enjoyed the Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappe. I would recommend this location. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used to go to this Starbucks all the time. Now there is no restroom. It’s for employees only. Completely ridiculous. It also seems like they took out a bunch of seats. I worked at Starbucks years ago and they had this “third place” philosophy but I guess now they have more of a “give us your money and get out” philosophy. That’s ok I’ll just never go to this location again.

At Starbucks at the intersection of Brooklyn's Greenpoint subway station
While spending a quiet afternoon, I unexpectedly ate a lot.
Ham Swiss Baguette is a delicious combination of ham and salty cheese. Kale Mash Agbite. A bunch of scrambled eggs.

Even though I love Starbucks coffee I will never come to this branch. I’d rather drink crappy deli coffee than give my business to this branch. The cashier accused me of lying when I wanted to get my refill. I bought a coffee and sat down and never left the store. She said she never saw me inside. Even when I told her I was inside the whole time 3 times. Then she gathered all of the workers and asked them if they saw me pointing at me. I felt like a lab rat. It felt horrible.

Barista at the register was very friendly, and the space is clean. The internet tested at 1.6 mbps when I arrived and was up to 8.5 at peak. No bathroom is absurd. They also seemed to be out of common inventory, but I don't know Starbucks well enough to guess what usually fills the empty spaces in their cooler at the line.
