Good coffee
Usually good, but fiancé just came back with a messed up turkey bacon breakfast sandwich (no idea how it fell apart in the bag) with hair we found between the turkey bacon
Facts! I read Benjamin’s review and I completely agree! Benjamin, if you’re reading this, you’re not alone in this feeling! I don’t know what is happening with this store, I’ve heard they have no manager. Hopefully one arrives soon, I need it to feel the way it used to! Jazz! Low volumes! Calmness! Clean bathroom! Samples! Welcoming workers, happy workers! We need it all Benjamin, and when it happens, I’ll come back and find you! We will be sipping on our lattes happily, studying to that sweet low volume jazz! ❤️🩹

I generally love coming to this Starbucks and have been a regular for years. I love the seating and drinks, and the manager is always kind—I’m often greeted by name when she’s there.
I’m leaving 2 stars for two reasons: the noise level and repeated poor customer service from one specific employee.
Noise: This store used to have calm, low-volume music (often jazz). Recently the music has been extremely loud—more like a club than a café—and I can’t focus even with headphones. I’ve also heard staff discussing their playlist while it’s playing. Please bring the volume back down to match the environment customers expect.
Customer service: Most baristas here are friendly and patient, but there is one employee (wears a hat and bun, a little older compared to other baristas) who regularly works the register who has been consistently rude to me and my family over multiple visits. When we have to order in person (especially when the app is down), she often sounds irritated, makes dismissive comments, and rushes us in a way that feels disrespectful.
I’m sharing this because I genuinely like this location and want it to improve. Lowering the music volume and addressing consistent customer service standards would make a huge difference

Hello, I recently visited this Starbucks location today I requested a cup of ice water which is free. The person at the counter told me that they would give it to me this time but that next time I’d have to buy something. I’ve never had this issue at any other Starbucks, and I was under the impression that ice water is complimentary for customers. I wanted to share this experience because it made me feel unwelcome, even though I was polite when making my request. Never coming back here ever again if you want ice water don’t bother coming there you should go to 86 street where they won’t make comments and won’t give a hard time.

I ordered from Starbucks today. My first order was an iced coffee and an iced green tea. Then I realized I had forgotten to order a hot coffee, so I placed a second order that included a hot coffee and another iced coffee. I do this because if you only put one cup in the carrier, it tips over.
When I went to pick up my hot coffee, the cup carrier itself was weak—it started falling apart as I held it. I also added a bag to my order in the app so everything could be put inside. When I first started going to Starbucks, if I put my drinks in the bag myself, the staff would get annoyed and tell me it was their job. But now, suddenly, they just dump everything on the counter and expect you to do it yourself.
On top of that, the quality of the cups has gone downhill. Today, while trying to put my coffee in the bag, the cup gave out, spilled, and burned my hand. If Starbucks staff are going to be snotty when customers bag their own drinks, and then later stop doing it themselves, why downgrade the quality of the cups at the same time?
It makes no sense. Starbucks charges so much money for their drinks, yet the service has become terrible. All that money for poor quality and worse service. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend anyone go to the 92nd Street location

This is one of the best Starbucks I’ve been to. All the people here are so genuinely nice, it’s become a lovely place to relax and work, and chat with them. When my bracelet broke (a gift from my mother) Gianna worked with her manager and coworkers to help me find the missing beads - it broke just as they were closing but they had the beads there for me in the morning.
